The study is based on correlation analysis, which is able to highlight the association between the two elements of interest and, at the same time, to show the strength of their relationship. Additionally, the correlation analysis will be conducted both for Generation Y and Generation Z. Presenting the correlation results in comparison with the two types of Generation will facilitate finding similarities or differences between Generations. The analysis considers 14 European countries and uses two ways of referring to the living standard in accordance with the scientific literature. Among the key findings, there is one in particular to be mentioned: the level of education does matter more for Generation Z as compared to Generation Y in having a higher living standard. The limits of the analysis and future research directions are mentioned in the conclusions. A total of 227 sport and recreation employees were recruited through the National Intramural and Recreational Sports Association. With the collected data, we employed structural equation modeling to assess the research hypotheses. The results indicated that safety climate and innovativeness positively influenced job engagement, therefore leading to enhanced safety compliance and employee innovativeness, which ultimately resulted in higher levels of organizational performance. Peer safety compliance was also found to be a moderator in the relationship between job engagement and safety compliance. In this study, the authors offer new insights into sport organizational performance by emphasizing safety and innovation. The study uses a mixed-methods approach, focusing on sustainable and significant investments in education that support both economic growth and societal well-being. Correlation analysis is used to examine the relationship between public education spending and labor productivity in Slovakia and Finland. The findings reveal a robust positive correlation, emphasizing the pivotal role of investment in education. Furthermore, the study utilizes the chi-squared test to verify hypotheses derived from a survey. The results highlight significant gender-specific variations in the perception of educational delivery and the importance of higher education for future prospects. The research underscores the necessity for tailored strategies that address the relevance of educational methodologies within diverse student populations, fostering inclusive and environmentally responsible learning environments. Insights from the study have implications for educational institutions and policymakers, emphasizing the need for inclusive, responsive, and environmentally sustainable approaches to education that meet the unique needs of Generation Z students. In order to improve educational programs' efficacy, efficiency, and social responsibility - that is, to better prepare students for the demands of the modern workforce while emphasizing long-term sustainability and societal well-being - the study also calls for more research into teaching methodologies, curriculum design, and teacher training. From the developmental perspective, it is vital to examine the occupational perceptions of college students who grew up in distinct social and psychological environments from previous generations. To bridge the research gap, this study is to examine college students’ subjective occupational perceptions and the psychosocial factors impacting their views on occupational identity. Fifty college students sorted 72 Q statements about their viewpoints on occupations. Findings revealed four viewpoints on the occupational perceptions with the highly work-engaged; money-minded; intrinsic motivation for career choice; and parent-child conflict. A person-centered counseling approach for individuals experiencing financial difficulties and/or parental conflict could enhance a sense of achievement and occupational identity. Considering delayed developmental tasks and uncertainties about their future career, along with their internal motivation and external conditions, comprehensive educational programs would be beneficial in exploring diverse career choices. Due to the challenges and various market changes that banks face, building an effectively motivated multigenerational employee team and understanding employee intrinsic and extrinsic motivation is very important.Aim: The paper aims to contribute to the literature and fill the research gap on the financial motivators available in banking and non-banking entities. The paper examines the role and importance of financial incentives, regularly used in the banking sector, in conjunction with a comprehensive analysis of their significance for representatives of different generations (X, Y, Z), gender, and career level in the sample of various institutions in the banking sector in Poland. Results: The paper outlines the opportunity to revise incentive systems in banking operations. The analysis was made twofold: firstly, within extensive desk research, and secondly, based on the empirical survey in the form of an individual research questionnaire carried out among 418 employees of various banks and companies from their capital groups just before the pandemic in 2020. The results were examined using statistical analysis, including non-parametric tests. We identified multiple respondents’ attitudes to motivational financial factors and classified their importance concerning generation, age, and organisational position. The study’s results indicate that generational and gender differences affect the perception of bank financial incentive tools. Some financial motivational factors regularly used in banks do not equally motivate employees, which leads to the conclusion that banking institutions should inevitably include generational and gender factors in their motivational approach to employees. Based on self-determination theory (SDT), the paper argues that the degree to which a work environment nurtures interpreters’ feelings of competence, connectedness, and autonomy can determine how motivated they feel, resulting in different degrees of job satisfaction. Stressing the organismic component in SDT, the paper further hypothesizes that the motivation in healthcare interpreting is mediated by interpreters’ values and that these vary across generations. An exploratory and qualitative study based on semi-structured interviews is conducted with 9 interpreters (3 from each generational group) who are working or have worked for the same hospital group. The differences in motivational factors and satisfaction are explored and implications for the ability of healthcare interpreting to retain the different generations are discussed. Another of the study’s objectives was to test whether these relationships vary according to the generation to which the participant belongs. The study sample consisted of 2123 participants working in Portuguese organizations. The results indicate that organizational competency development practices (training, individualized support, and functional rotation) negatively and significantly affect turnover intentions and that affective commitment mediates this relationship. However, these relationships vary according to the participant’s generation. For Generation Y and Generation X, this mediating effect is found in all dimensions of organizational competency development practices. For the baby boomer generation, there is only a mediating effect of affective commitment in the relationship between individualized support and turnover intentions. These results indicate that human resources should consider the generation to which the participant belongs when implementing competency development practices. Method: The proposed hypotheses were tested in a survey of 122 Brazilian and German participants. The data were analyzed using t-test and logistic regression models. Main Results: The results present differences between Brazilian and German Generation Z, challenging the literature that analyzes Generation Z as a global generation and reinforcing cultural differences between nationalities. The Brazilian sample presents more instrumental and prestige work values and is more positive and less negative regarding technology than the German sample. Relevance/Originality: The paper’s contribution provides evidence of Generation Z’s differences according to nationalities relevant to shaping their relationship with work and technology. The analysis of both constructs is interesting nowadays because of their interrelationship and the current changes in global work boundaries. Theoretical/Methodological Contributions: The literature predominantly presents that Generation Z is a global generation. Comparing participants from two countries with different levels of development provides an insight into their differences regarding work values and attitudes, which can be valuable for business management literature. Practical/Social Contributions: Recommendations for businesses are provided to improve attraction and retention strategies to tackle the shortage of skilled workers. This implies management strategies for firms with multicultural teams. The consumption of OTT media grows by 40% every year. The existence of OTT media has raised the binge-watching phenomenon. This research focuses on how Generation Z's binge-watching lifestyle uses OTT media. This research uses a qualitative methodology by conducting a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with four to six informants from six regions in Indonesia who actively use OTT media. The theory used in this research is the Media Ecology Theory. Results show that Generation Z watches movies they like more than three hours daily. They determine the duration, frequency, and platforms they want to use. Generation Z's motivations for binge-watching are pleasure (as a medium of entertainment and relaxation), efficiency (easy to access), control (having low self-control), fandom (wanting to feel close to the player), and recommendations from others (not being left behind by others). Binge-watching positively impacts by providing a more open perception of experience, thoughts, and points of view. An Internet survey was conducted targeting Japanese people between the ages of 18 and 79. A total of 2,163 respondents completed the survey. The respondents were classified into 10-year age groups for the analysis. The results of the t tests regarding different age groups’ opinion on various socio-economic issues, showed that policies that benefit a specific generation have difficulty gaining support from other generations. Generation Z do not support policies for improving elderly care, but they are strongly in favor of making university tuition free. On the other hand, people over 50 seem to be against university tuition free. Even within Generation Z, there are many questions that show significant differences between teenagers and those in their 20s.Thus, it appears that people’s opinion on economic policy issues are influenced by whether or not they are working and paying tax, rather than the generation they belong to. On the other hand, the concept of equality of outcome elicited support from both teenagers and those in their 20s, and is therefore a characteristic of Generation Z. This research will employ a cross-sectional survey design, using the questionnaire survey method to collect data on the study variables. The sampling technique used in this research is non-probability, purposive sampling. A sample will be collected from 348 young-generation employees working in pharmaceutical companies residing in Malaysia. PLS-SEM will be used to analyze the hypothesized relationships, providing valuable insight into critical factors influencing talent retention in pharmaceutical companies in Malaysia. The scarcity of research in the pharmaceutical context emphasizes the importance of identifying key influences on employee retention, which include training and development, job embeddedness, and flexible working arrangements. Interventions addressing these elements are critical for retaining skilled employees and improving organizational performance. The result of this research contributes to the comprehension of retention schemes, training and development plans, effective flexible work arrangements, and factors promoting job embeddedness. The findings guide organizational leaders in predicting employee preferences, reducing turnover rates, and implementing effective retention strategies, ultimately contributing to enhanced productivity and economic growth in Malaysia's pharmaceutical sector. The research also highlights the positive impact on employees' career advancement, employability, work-life balance, and overall well-being. This article aims to provide an impact of Instagram influencers’ credibility on three different forms of consumer behaviour i.e., purchase intention, purchase decision process, and impulse buying. The investigation extends to evaluate the comparison of Generation Z and Millennials in terms of their perceived Instagram influencers’ credibility and consumer behaviour. Furthermore, it seeks to develop an understanding of the role of homophily as a mediator between influencers’ credibility and consumer behaviour. In this study, authors use the Model of Credibility proposed by Ohanian (1990) and the Purchase Decision Process suggested by John Dewey (1910) to gain deeper insights on how digital media is redefining the buying patterns of consumers. For this purpose, the authors employ survey analysis and collect the data from 350 Instagram users through purposive sampling across Pakistan. The finding of this study suggests that Instagram influencers’ credibility has significant positive impact on the consumer behaviour of Gen Z and Millennials. Gen Z is more likely to perceive Instagram influencers as credible and possesses stronger desire to shop or make impulsive buying decisions than Millennials. Moreover, the results elucidate that homophily partially mediates between Instagram influencers’ credibility and consumer behaviour. Furthermore, this study reveals that socioeconomic status and qualification level of the Millennials and Gen Z play a significant role to shape their consumer behaviour and perceived influencers’ credibility. This study contributes to the existing body of knowledge by shedding light on the changing dynamics of digital advertising within the context of online influencers. Various studies of young generation workers do not analyze the opinions of employers regarding the changes in the structure of human resource management, while knowing the characteristics of generation Z can help companies adjust to their interests in recruitment, selection and retention of young employees. In this regard, the main purpose of this study is to identify the attitudes of the entrepreneurial community towards young employees on the example of old industrial region of the Southern Federal District - the Volgograd region. The data for the analysis are obtained through an anonymous survey of entrepreneurial structures without reference to their size and form of ownership using «Google-form» platform in the period from May 15 to September 01, 2022. The questionnaire was distributed through the Union «Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Volgograd region», the portal of state support of business of Volgograd region «My Business» and through personal contacts. The total sample was 214 enterprises. The survey showed that small enterprises of the Volgograd region have quite high requirements for young employees and do not have information about the changes in the structure of human resource management. Employers want employees to be creative, proactive, have knowledge of specialized computer programs and experience in the relevant field, but they are not ready to offer them high wages. Generation Z workers expect organizations to provide career development, but business structures in this regard are only willing to pay for training or refresher courses, internships in other regions, and the provision of discounted trips. Russian entrepreneurs continue to ignore the needs, demands and values of young workers. Regional business support institutions should organize market research on the needs, values and demands of centennials in relation to employers. Entrepreneurs could pay special attention to implementing global and national best practices in meeting the needs of young employees. Design/methodology/approach: Many employees remember the Covid-19 pandemic period as a forced shift to remote work and a significant experience with all its advantages and disadvantages. After many months of operating in a new professional reality, employers and employees got used to working under new conditions. Still, more importantly, this period marked a new trend in the labour market by opening institutions to this way of working. This issue was addressed in a 2021/2022 student survey. Its main objective was to explore the relationship between young people’s remote learning experiences and their preference for remote working. The data were analysed using the STATISTICA software, and the Kruskal- Wallis rank ANOVA, Mann-Whitney U and Pearson’s chi-square tests were applied. Findings: The results show that remote working is becoming increasingly important and that hybrid work is recommended, regardless of whether the demotivating aspects of remote working are known or perceived. Practical implication: When analysing the percentage distribution of responses to individual questions, it can be seen that respondents’ answers on the motivational or demotivational aspects of remote working were mainly in line with the literature. However, an in-depth analysis that considers the significance tests of the differences between the individual independent variables requires a more thorough look at the results obtained. New challenges that appear in modern companies are also connected with the massive implementation of remote work as a result of COVID pandemic. In these circumstances knowledge management and particularly knowledge transfer from employee to employee faced with new obstacles. In the context of the outlined econo-socio-demographic changes, the author of this paper focuses her analysis on answering the question of how remote working influences selected aspects of learning processes in organisations as experienced by Generation Z. The research was conducted in December 2022 on a sample of the Generation Z representatives with the aim to identify their experiences and opinions about the remote type of work. For the research purposes, the Likert scale-based questionnaire technique was applied. The data was analysed in the STATISTICA program using Kruskal-Wallis ANOVA on ranks test, Mann-Whitney test, and the Pearson's chi-square test. The results of the research reveal interesting dependencies between the respondents’ opinions and variables such as gender, the industry in which the remote work was conducted, size of the organisation, experience in remote working and the preferred form of work in the future. This study uses explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study is the Generation Z Society, the generation born between 1997-2012 in Malang City who invests in the capital market. The sampling technique used in the study was purposive sampling. Data collection was used through surveys using questionnaires, and the use of Likert scales to test instruments. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) modeling. The results of this study indicate that overconfidence bias and herding bias contained in investors can reduce the quality of investment decisions. In addition, overconfidence bias and herding bias can also reduce investors' risk perception. The perception of risk in investors can influence investment decisions and increase the benefits of the investment process. Risk perception can mediate between overconfidence bias and herding bias on investment decisions. The results of this study suggest that investors should minimize the formation of bias when making investment decisions and diversify their portfolios to minimize risk.
