Some vertebrate fossils were also found. Besides fish teeth, remains of marine reptiles are also present in the fauna. Four vertebrae, a piece of a rib, as well as a tooth crown fragment have also been found.Based on the geological buildup and the new biostratigraphic data the active stage of the Barnag Platform was much shorter than that of the other two Middle Anisian platforms of the Balaton Highland (Tagyon Platform, Kádárta Platform). The ammonoid fauna of the lowermost thin limestone bed above the Tagyon Formation contains elements reworked from the Balatonicus Zone. The overlying some beds contain a very rich lower Illyrian ammonoid fauna which is more diverse than the equivalent faunas of the Tagyon Platform and the Kádárta Platform. The ammonites of the Balatonicus Zone in the basal part of the Vászoly Formation prove that the drowning of the Barnag Platform occured even during the Pelsonian, earlier than in the case of the Tagyon and the Kádárta Platforms where the oldest basin sediments are mid-Illyrian (Camunum Subzone of the Trinodosus Zone) above the drowning surface.The Akol Hill locality also provided the first known occurrence of ichthyosaurs like Cymbospondylus, predators that probably dwelled mostly open marine environments but also might have been well adapted for hunting in shallow environments like submarine highs.}, year = {2022}, eissn = {2559-902X}, pages = {233-257} } @article{MTMT:31904372, title = {Sauropterygian remains from the Middle Triassic of Villány, Hungary—new information on the aquatic reptile fauna of Tisza Megaunit (Triassic southern Eurasian shelf region)}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/31904372}, author = {Segesdi, Martin and Ősi, Attila}, doi = {10.1007/s12549-020-00480-x}, journal-iso = {PALAEOBIODIV PALAEOENV}, journal = {PALAEOBIODIVERSITY AND PALAEOENVIRONMENTS}, volume = {101}, unique-id = {31904372}, issn = {1867-1594}, year = {2021}, eissn = {1867-1608}, pages = {985-1011}, orcid-numbers = {Segesdi, Martin/0000-0003-4942-1810; Ősi, Attila/0000-0003-2967-997X} } @article{MTMT:31544086, title = {Placodont remains (Sauropsida, Sauropterygia) from the Triassic of Hungary (Transdanubian Range and Villány Mountains)}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/31544086}, author = {Gere, Kinga and Scheyer, TM. and Makádi, László and Ősi, Attila}, doi = {10.1007/s12549-020-00432-5}, journal-iso = {PALAEOBIODIV PALAEOENV}, journal = {PALAEOBIODIVERSITY AND PALAEOENVIRONMENTS}, volume = {100}, unique-id = {31544086}, issn = {1867-1594}, year = {2020}, eissn = {1867-1608}, pages = {1047-1063}, orcid-numbers = {Ősi, Attila/0000-0003-2967-997X} } @article{MTMT:31618154, title = {Gerinces fosszíliák és kutatásuk a Kárpát-medencében}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/31618154}, author = {Ősi, Attila and Mészáros, Lukács}, doi = {10.23928/foldt.kozl.2020.150.3.375}, journal-iso = {FÖLDTANI KÖZLÖNY}, journal = {FÖLDTANI KÖZLÖNY}, volume = {150}, unique-id = {31618154}, issn = {0015-542X}, year = {2020}, eissn = {2559-902X}, pages = {375-396}, orcid-numbers = {Ősi, Attila/0000-0003-2967-997X} } @article{MTMT:31385739, title = {Tanystropheus and other archosauromorph reptile remains from the Middle and Late Triassic of Villány (Villány Hills, Hungary)}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/31385739}, author = {Ősi, Attila and Szabó, Márton and Botfalvai, Gábor}, doi = {10.31577/GeolCarp.71.3.5}, journal-iso = {GEOL CARPATH}, journal = {GEOLOGICA CARPATHICA}, volume = {71}, unique-id = {31385739}, issn = {1335-0552}, year = {2020}, eissn = {1336-8052}, pages = {264-273}, orcid-numbers = {Ősi, Attila/0000-0003-2967-997X; Botfalvai, Gábor/0000-0002-5479-9036} }
