AMOS was used to conduct hypothesis testing.Findings - The results suggest that empowering leaders have a positive impact on outcomes such as employee engagement, knowledge sharing and task performance, and this impact is mediated by relational energy. Autonomy moderates the empowering leaders and relational energy relationship, strengthening it when autonomy is high.Practical implications - Organizations should focus on leadership development programs depending on the need. Empowering leadership should be promoted to get positive attitudinal and behavioral outcomes in terms of employees. Empowering the employee in terms of decision-making helps motivate employees to perform better.Originality/value - The study contributes to the empowering leadership literature by associating social cognitive theory. Empowering leaders has the potential to increase employee engagement, knowledge sharing and task performance. The sample comprised 375 taxi drivers from the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. Data were collected using the query method via a questionnaire in April 2022. The structure of the respondents is divided into shared taxi service providers (N = 294) and traditional taxi service providers (N = 69). The study selected 14 factors: demographic (4), financial (7), and economic (3). The SEM approach was applied to evaluate the hypotheses. Shared taxi providers have a stronger propensity to do business than traditional taxi drivers. Demographic characteristics of a traditional taxi driver are the most significant factors with a strong influence on the propensity to do business (βS = 0.525 > βT = 0.425). On the other hand, the financial and economic characteristics of shared taxi drivers strongly influence the propensity to do business (βT = 0.565 > βS = 0.212). The characteristics of the enterprise are on the verge of significance in relation to the tendency to do business with shared taxi drivers, as opposed to traditional taxi drivers. For traditional taxi drivers, there is a strong influence of the characteristics of the enterprise on the propensity to do business (βT = 0.476 > βS = 0.026). This study contributes to understanding how participating in sharing economy may stimulate the propensity to do business. There has been a lot of research on different areas and processes of corporate operations, and more and more initiatives are emerging to address nature conservation, environmental protection and climate change issues. However, little research addresses the potential for sustainability of organisational knowledge, a factor that fundamentally influences the functioning of organisations. Beyond the steps of the knowledge management process, organisational culture, working conditions, the organisational environment and the organisational leadership that manages them are also at the forefront. The aim of this study is to highlight the supporting role of sustainable management for the sustainability of knowledge and to show the context of further supporting conditions. Previous research has identified sustainable management as an alternative management style that can significantly change organisations and society by deepening understanding of natural and economic systems and their interdependencies. Accordingly, it ensures market performance in a holistic approach based on the concept of sustainable knowledge and with a view to the efficient use of the company’s internal resources. The cornerstones of these interrelationships and the conditions of the relationships are presented here in a theoretical approach. Its examination is usually carried out either from the economic side or from the education side. However, this relationship also affects many other areas of life, so it is worth analysing from the perspective of other sciences as well. An outsider’s point of view can draw attention to details that do not stand out from the overall picture for either industry or education researchers the purpose of this study is to draw attention to such points of view. For this purpose, authors examined the questionnaires of the pilot test of older planned research using the method of text analysis. The educational paradigm always, in any historical era, acts as a paradigmatic idea of the development of innovations and the economic development of society as a whole. The trajectory of society’s development and the saturation of the labor market with high-quality specialists will depend on the correct interaction of the subjects of the educational process, including the management of educational institutions and guarantors of educational programs, with employers. Such interaction will influence the formation of the correct system of competencies in future specialists, which must be adapted to new challenges and market needs. Properly chosen communication approaches establish the priority of knowledge, cause the need to improve the quality of this knowledge and understand the consequences of their impact on society and, in particular, on the innovative development of society. Based on the survey results, the transformation of the teacher’s role is one of the most important changes compared to traditional education. However, the renewal of the curriculum and the application of modern methods in education also play a significant role. There is no need to give students instruction manuals, but knowledge and skills that enable them to learn new knowledge. Survey results show that educational paradigm shift can be a result of developing the modern educational content and methods and lead to the qualitative development of innovative society. Keywords: education, Industry 4.0, paradigm shift, out-of-the-box, viewpoints. It allows all subjects to form an opinion to the state as well as the whole society. Information is also called the oxygen of democracy. Access to truthful, timely and complete information is a prerequisite for making our decisions meaningful. The aim of our contribution is a thorough review of the constitutionally guaranteed right to information. In terms of systematic approach, the contribution is divided into three parts in addition to the introduction and conclusion. Each of them focuses on a certain aspect of the constitutional right to information. For the thorough elaboration of the paper we used several scientific methods of investigation, especially description, analysis, synthesis, deduction, logic or comparison but also doctrinal interpretation. The result of the paper is an evaluation of the current constitutional status of the implementation of the right to information in the Slovak Republic. At the end of the paper we confirm or reject the hypothesis that the current law is sufficient without the need for further adjustments.
