Design/methodology/approach: Many employees remember the Covid-19 pandemic period as a forced shift to remote work and a significant experience with all its advantages and disadvantages. After many months of operating in a new professional reality, employers and employees got used to working under new conditions. Still, more importantly, this period marked a new trend in the labour market by opening institutions to this way of working. This issue was addressed in a 2021/2022 student survey. Its main objective was to explore the relationship between young people’s remote learning experiences and their preference for remote working. The data were analysed using the STATISTICA software, and the Kruskal- Wallis rank ANOVA, Mann-Whitney U and Pearson’s chi-square tests were applied. Findings: The results show that remote working is becoming increasingly important and that hybrid work is recommended, regardless of whether the demotivating aspects of remote working are known or perceived. Practical implication: When analysing the percentage distribution of responses to individual questions, it can be seen that respondents’ answers on the motivational or demotivational aspects of remote working were mainly in line with the literature. However, an in-depth analysis that considers the significance tests of the differences between the individual independent variables requires a more thorough look at the results obtained. Originality/value: As Generation Z is entering the labour market it is important information for future employers, as it will be difficult to build a message for this generation that will encourage future employees to work stationary based on rational premises regarding the advantages and disadvantages of remote or hybrid work. Keywords: Generation Z, remote work, motivation. Category of the paper: Research paper. Although previous studies considered the generational gap between Baby Boomers parents and Generation Z as a myth, preliminary study raises an urgency to explore further the experiences of Baby Boomers parents in raising children from Generation Z. This study aims to explore the experiences of Baby Boomer parents in facing challenges and viewing opportunities in parenting Generation Z children. Utilizing a qualitative approach of Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), this study involved three participants from the Baby Boomers generation who have children from Generation Z in Y city. The main data of this study were the transcripts of in-depth interviews, which lasted 90-120 minutes for each participant. The results of the analysis produced three themes, being: (1) the need to build parent-child closeness to bridge the generation gap; (2) parents' efforts to understand the world of children from Generation Z; and (3) parents' expectations for future of Generation Z adolescents. This study offered the implications for providing evidence from the latest study on parenting practices to uncover challenges and opportunities from the experience of Baby Boomers raising Generation Z. Perubahan nilai, budaya, dan teknologi membawa tuntutan baru dalam pola asuh Generasi Z, khususnya oleh orang tua dari generasi Baby Boomers. These young people have had access to the internet and other innovative technologies since birth. A tape recorder or a floppy disk is a museum exhibit for them. They are unfamiliar with the everyday problems that citizens of Central and Eastern Europe faced during the socialist era, such as the lack of necessities on the shelves. The aim of this article is to present the results of the authors’ survey on the identification of work motivation factors relevant to Generation Z. The survey involved 649 respondents, young Poles who are currently entering the labor market. It was also an interesting research task for the authors to compare the results of surveys among young Poles with the results of international surveys. The research provided insight into young people’s expectations, values, and preferences regarding work. The results of the survey can provide valuable guidance for employers in shaping sustainable human resource management strategies. In addition, studying the competences of Generation Z can identify the gap between the requirements of the labor market and the skills possessed by young workers. The study conducted by the authors is among the first of its kind in Poland after the pandemic, emphasizing the growing trend in remote work. Earlier research was undertaken in a different economic climate. The current investigation took place following the COVID-19 outbreak and amidst heightened military operations in Ukraine. It also takes into account the effects of recent technological progress related to the rapid development of Industry 4.0. Notably, the questionnaire used in this study is unique as the authors categorized motivational factors into three essential groups, highly relevant in today’s markedly altered labor market. It uses the lens of social cognitive and social capital theories by incorporating the generational cohort theory to explore Gen Y and Gen Z. This is a hypothetico-deductive study that employs a semi-structured survey of 84 Gen Y and 154 Gen Z respondents from Indonesia. The findings revealed that the effect of religiosity on venture creation was significantly negative for the Gen Y, and the two moderators played a significant role in the relationship between religiosity and venture creation only for the Gen Y. The findings of this study provide the new empirical discourse that even though the Gen Y and the Gen Z are considered digital natives, they have different religious views and behaviors notably when it comes to the decision to set up a new business. This study provides and opens new avenues for future research on this topic and highlights the urgency to explore the religious behavior of earlier generations towards venture creation. This phenomenon took a massive form in the first stage of the pandemic mainly due to the lockdown. However, in the following months, many employees found this professional arrangement convenient and conducive to the organisation of work and personal life. Remote work seems to be particularly attractive for employees of the young generation. At the same time, employers have noticed that this form of work definitely has benefits, but also brings disadvantages. Today, management practitioners are increasingly pointing to the hybrid work model as the preferred one. In order to learn about the preferences of the Generation Z employees in terms of the forms of work and their impact on various aspects of work, a survey was designed. The research was conducted in December 2021 on a sample of the Generation Z representatives with the aim to identify their attitudes and opinions about the remote type of work based on their experiences and expectations. For the research purposes, the Likert scale-based questionnaire technique was applied. The data was analysed in the STATISTICA program using Kruskal-Wallis ANOVA on ranks test, Mann-Whitney test, and the Pearson's chi-square test. The strength of the correlation between the variables was assessed using the Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. They are called the millennial generation because they are the generation that lives at the turn of the millennium. Simultaneously in today's digital technology began to penetrate into human life rapidly. When viewed from the age, this millennial generation is between 21-41 years old. In this paper, data were obtained from articles and journals, books, and news sources in the mass media. This study uses descriptive analysis method to analyze the data. A leader is someone who is able to move others by commanding, directing, and guiding others, in order to take action in order to achieve an expected goal according to the agreement. With the development of the times, many leaders emerged because of the demands and environmental conditions at this time. Then in the growing era of the millennial generation, the government should have prepared what the millennial generation needs so that they will become ideal leaders for the Indonesian people. In order to be realized, the millennial generation as the regeneration of the nation's leaders must be prepared from an early age by providing nationalism, religion, character and moral education. There has been a lot of research on different areas and processes of corporate operations, and more and more initiatives are emerging to address nature conservation, environmental protection and climate change issues. However, little research addresses the potential for sustainability of organisational knowledge, a factor that fundamentally influences the functioning of organisations. Beyond the steps of the knowledge management process, organisational culture, working conditions, the organisational environment and the organisational leadership that manages them are also at the forefront. The aim of this study is to highlight the supporting role of sustainable management for the sustainability of knowledge and to show the context of further supporting conditions. Previous research has identified sustainable management as an alternative management style that can significantly change organisations and society by deepening understanding of natural and economic systems and their interdependencies. Accordingly, it ensures market performance in a holistic approach based on the concept of sustainable knowledge and with a view to the efficient use of the company’s internal resources. The cornerstones of these interrelationships and the conditions of the relationships are presented here in a theoretical approach. Leadership within the Church today uses an allegedly less effective pattern for the long-term continuity of church life because regeneration is not a priority, so the younger generation feels that it is not counted as part of the Church's development plan day and in the future. Thus they do not feel at home but judge themselves as strangers within the Church. As a result, the pattern of leadership regeneration within the Church today is one of the triggers for the gap between generations that actually gives birth to a form of indirect division within the community of believers as the Body of Christ. Furthermore, this study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis and involves more than two variables, with 123 respondents from West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, who actively invest in Islamic stocks, providing accurate information through multivariate analysis. The study found that digital platforms and motivation have a significant impact on Generation Z's decision to invest in Islamic stocks, while financial literacy has an insignificant effect. However, the analysis results indicated that financial literacy has indirectly motivated them to invest in these types of stocks through motivation. This suggests that digital platforms and motivation play a crucial role in investment decisions. Therefore, service providers need to continuously develop digital applications as transaction tools to cater to the needs of Generation Z. Additionally, improving financial literacy is crucial to increasing people's investment skills, even though it may not directly affect investment decisions. In this quantitative study, conducted in a South African public organisation (Gauteng province), dimensions of organisational trust were correlated with the personality dimensions (measured by combined trust and personality instrument). A cross–sectional quantitative research design was conducted on a selected sample of permanent employees from auditing and support business units (N = 350) at a public organisation. The data was collected through a web-based survey. The results revealed significant relationships between the variables. Specifically, the results revealed that credibility and work support were stronger correlated to agreeableness than the five dimensions of personality. For instance, a Pearson correlation analysis revealed that agreeableness correlated significantly and positively with credibility (r = 0.652) and work support (r = 0.626). In the same vein, conscientiousness correlated significantly and positively with trust relationship (r=0.695) and credibility (r=0.622). Additionally, a positive and substantial significant relationship was observed with the dimension openness to experience which correlated significantly and positively with trust relationship (r=0.505) and work support (r=0.503). Furthermore, the results showed that neuroticism correlated significantly and positively with credibility (r=0.590) and trust relationship (r=0.567). The results of the regression analysis further confirmed that agreeableness, conscientiousness, and openness to experience would predict organisational trust. The agreeableness dimension made the most significant predictor of organisational trust. Neuroticism dimension did not make a significant contribution to predicting organisational trust. This indicates that personality dimensions are likely to be related to higher levels of organisational trust. Subsequently, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was executed on the measurement models of the instruments used via SPSS AMOS version 27. As the result of confirmatory factor analysis, it was found that the personality and organisational trust dimensions factor structure showed the good fit to the data (χ2= 0.379, df = 2, p = 0.685, CFI = 1.00, TLI = 1.02, NFI= 0.99, RFI= 0.98, IFI= 1.00 RMSEA = 0.00); (χ2= 1.195, df = 7, p = 0.302, CFI = 0.999, TLI = 0.998, NFI= 0.995, RFI= 0.989, IFI= 0.999 RMSEA = 0.29), eliminating the need of any modifications. All factor loadings were statistically significant, with highest loading on neuroticism (β = 0.86), followed by conscientiousness (β = 0.80), agreeableness (β = 0.78), openness to experience (β =0.68), credibility (β = 0.98), followed by work support (β = 0.93), team management (β = 0.93), information sharing (β = 0.91), trust relationship (β = 0.86) and interpersonal trust (β = 0.63) respectively. Special attention is given to the new ways of working that have led to an increase in work by projects which is supported on teamwork and high performance teams. In the workplace, diversity is the new normal. High performance teams (HPTs) are a good example of how to tap on the generational intelligence of mixed age workgroups. In recent years, the trend of working in projects has increased. In the description of the practical case, the way in which teams were developed as part of the strategic planning of a Mexican business school is shown. Analyses were conducted to determine whether the performance perception of the team had a positive correlation with its productivity evaluation and if the team's rating of the value of multigenerational work could be connected to its productivity and/or the performance perception of the team members.
