The main body shows the simulations of a three-phase voltage-source active rectifier with respects to the dead times. This section especially describes the figures which present the harmonics analysis of the input current and its dependence on the dead time duration. The last part of the paper discusses the Total harmonic distortion of the current and effect of the dead times on this comprehensive indicator of the distortion. Current-source active rectifier is used only sporadically similarly to current inverter. This paper presents analysis of the current drawn from the grid by voltagesource active rectifier. First part deals with the principle of voltage-source active rectifier and its control. The second part shows analytical calculation of harmonic analysis on the model of simplified current linearized by parts, which is taken from the grid. These calculations are compared with simulations. In the last part the linearization of current waveform was applied to the three-phase voltage-source active rectifier and compared with measurements.
