On the basis of the overview of the presented arguments, the most commonly proposed recommendations were that there should be: (a) a general definition of work addiction, (b) the need for more transdisciplinary and integrative approach to research, and (c) propositions regarding more high-quality research. These three aspects are summarized in the present paper. There is a general agreement among work addiction researchers that work addiction is a problematic behavior that merits more systematic studies, which require input and expertise from a wide range of fields due to its complex nature.}, keywords = {Workaholism; Work addiction; behavioral addiction; problematic overworking; problematic work}, year = {2019}, eissn = {2063-5303}, pages = {7-15}, orcid-numbers = {Demetrovics, Zsolt/0000-0001-5604-7551} } @article{MTMT:30683715, title = {A Four-Factor Model of Work Addiction: The Development of the Work Addiction Risk Test Revised}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/30683715}, author = {Urbán, Róbert and Kun, Bernadette and Mózes, Tamás and Soltész, Péter and Paksi, Borbála and Farkas, Judit and Kökönyei, Gyöngyi and Orosz, Gábor and Maráz, Anikó and Felvinczi, Katalin and Griffiths, Mark D. and Demetrovics, Zsolt}, doi = {10.1159/000499672}, journal-iso = {EUR ADDICT RES}, journal = {EUROPEAN ADDICTION RESEARCH}, volume = {25}, unique-id = {30683715}, issn = {1022-6877}, year = {2019}, eissn = {1421-9891}, pages = {145-160}, orcid-numbers = {Urbán, Róbert/0000-0002-2058-5937; Kun, Bernadette/0000-0003-1609-2977; Paksi, Borbála/0000-0002-3616-2867; Farkas, Judit/0000-0002-2450-0355; Kökönyei, Gyöngyi/0000-0001-6750-2644; Orosz, Gábor/0000-0001-5883-6861; Felvinczi, Katalin/0000-0003-1813-7227; Demetrovics, Zsolt/0000-0001-5604-7551} } @article{MTMT:30393074, title = {Ten myths about work addiction}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/30393074}, author = {Griffiths, Mark D and Demetrovics, Zsolt and Atroszko, Paweł A}, doi = {10.1556/2006.7.2018.05}, journal-iso = {J BEHAV ADDICT}, journal = {JOURNAL OF BEHAVIORAL ADDICTIONS}, volume = {7}, unique-id = {30393074}, issn = {2062-5871}, year = {2018}, eissn = {2063-5303}, pages = {845-857}, orcid-numbers = {Demetrovics, Zsolt/0000-0001-5604-7551} }
