The method is especially useful in the case of submicron grain size or nanocrystalline materials, where X-ray line broadening is a well pronounced effect, and the observation of defects with very large density is often not easy by transmission electron microscopy. The fundamentals of X-ray line broadening are summarized in terms of the different qualitative breadth methods, and the more sophisticated and more quantitative whole pattern fitting procedures. The efficiency and practical use of X-ray line profile analysis is shown by discussing its applications to metallic, ceramic, diamond-like and polymer nanomaterials. ? by Oldenbourg Wissenschaftsverlag.}, keywords = {DISLOCATIONS; grain-size; nanomaterials; SEVERE PLASTIC-DEFORMATION; STACKING-FAULTS; Crystallite size; DIFFRACTION PROFILE; DISLOCATION CONTRAST; Planar defects; X-ray line profile analysis; Crystallite size distribution; Nickel-base superalloy; COPPER SINGLE-CRYSTALS; BROADENING ANALYSIS; SILICON-NITRIDE POWDERS}, year = {2007}, pages = {567-579}, orcid-numbers = {Gubicza, Jenő/0000-0002-8938-7293} } @article{MTMT:1354723, title = {The adsorption of caesium-137 on bentonites from the Carpathian basin}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/1354723}, author = {M. The adsorbed quantity at carrier-free concentration was measured using Cs-137, the adsorption capacity of bentonites for cesium ions was determined by X-ray fluorescence analysis. The relation of the cesium adsorption and mineral composition as well as the structural modifications of crystal structure was studied by X-ray diffraction spectrometry and thermoanalysis.
