A closed region of bistability exitst in the plot of input stream concentrations of ferroin and bromate. The bromate-ferroin-bromide systems exhibits bistability and high amplitude oscillations over a broad range of concentrations. As a first approximation a revised Oregonator type model extended by reactions of ferroin and ferriin describes the system.
