initial NO concentration, gas-residence time, \nreaction temperature and ultraviolet (UV) light intensity on \nthe photocatalytic decomposition of NO have been determined \nin an annular flow-type and a modified two-dimensional \nfluidized-bed photoreactors. The decomposition of NO by \nphotocatalysis increases with decreasing initial NO \nconcentration and increasing gas-residence time. The reaction \nrate increases with increasing UV light intensity. The light \ntransmission increases exponentially with the bed voidage at \nsuperficial gas velocity above 1.3 times the minimum \nfluidizing velocity (Umf) in the two-dimensional fluidized-\nbed photoreactor. In the two-dimensional fluidized-bed \nphotoreactor, NO decomposition reaches >70% at the gas \nvelocity of 2.5Umf.
