It is not used for food production. It can replace fossil energy, secure energy, accelerate carbon peak carbon neutrality, heal soil, and improve the environment. This research analyses the literature on Arundo’s economic and environmental worth. Scientists have screened and domesticated over 230 wild arundo species from home and abroad to choose new super arundo variants for varied uses and accomplish large-scale planting. Ardonax helps farmers find jobs, earn more, achieve rural distributed energy self-supply, and develop sustainably, according to experiments. However, arundo may damage the local ecosystem after being introduced. The 5th generation of super ardonax can achieve mechanisation through greenhouse GAP domestication, energy self-supply through low-cost marginal land cultivation, land repair and improvement, farmers’ income, and rural revitalization. This study examines Arundo’s impact on China’s national and local economies. The discussion compares application industry data. Arundo’s product orientation and business strategy are driving economic estimates and market assessments of the entire industrial chain. LA - English DB - MTMT ER - TY - JOUR AU - Gishkaeva, L. L. The author notes that urbanization has caused many environmental problems, among which the vulnerability of urban systems and the low level of environmental quality can be noted. In the modern Russian Federation, 75% of the total population of the country lives in urban areas. The features of the development of modern urbanized territories, leading to environmental pollution and further degradation, are highlighted. Improving the system of green spaces, based on urban zoning, soil conditions, climatic features, can significantly improve the ecological situation in the urban environment. It is noted that urban ecology leads to an increase in the quality of life of the population living in these territories through the greening of urban landscapes, approaching the natural environment, phytomelioration , and the formation of an attractive image of the city. Some physiological and ecological features of green spaces, which determine their important role in the greening of urban areas, have been studied. Plant species that are most suitable for landscaping urban areas in modern conditions are proposed. It is also noted that the growth of the ecological and economic competitiveness of the territory based on the use of an environmentally sound approach in the creation and operation of urban green spaces can cause an increase in revenues to the municipal budget. At the same time, the first is to cause real damage to fish, aquatic animals and plant stocks, calculated in monetary amounts, and the second to cause damage to the environment. It is important to understand that all damage caused is subject to compensation from the guilty person. The amount of compensation for environmental damage is determined in accordance with established calculation methods. LA - English DB - MTMT ER - TY - JOUR AU - Demilkhanova, B. A. AU - Berkaeva, A. The purpose of the article was to identify factors that contribute to the introduction of environmental innovations in the subjects of the North Caucasus Federal District. To do this, on the basis of official statistical information, as indicators of innovative activities aimed at improving the environment, indicators were selected that characterize the scale of the introduction of technologies. The article interconnects such characteristics of subjects as an environmental rating, the level of innovative activity in the field of environmental protection and the nature of innovative activity aimed at improving the state of the environment, which led to the conclusion that the place of the subject on the scale of innovative activity is not associated with the assigned environmental rating. Based on the fact that the indicators of the effectiveness of environmental innovations and the use of the financial potential for the introduction of environmental innovations are referred, within the framework of the study, to indicators of the intensive development of innovative activities, and the indicator of the formation of technical and technological potential for the introduction of environmental innovations is an indicator of extensive development, the subjects of the North Caucasus Federal District are grouped by nature development of innovative activities in the field of environmental safety. On the other hand, a positive agenda for socio-economic changes in society based on the ideas of “sustainable development”. The inclusion of issues of environmental literacy and environmentally responsible behavior in the content of general and additional education is a global trend, determined by the growing role of education for sustainable development. Environmental literacy is a logical component of education for sustainable development, the associated attention to the various interactions of various elements of the environment, includes human activities that are essential to achieve a self-sustaining community that preserves resources for future generations. The proposed recommendations use the following concept of “environmental literacy”: the ability to understand the systems and processes of nature and the environment that allow the creation and functioning of sustainable communities. The answer to these challenges is offered by the fourth industrial revolution, or Industry 4.0 (I4.0). It consists in increasing the speed of bringing products to market through the transformation of the supply chain into highly adaptive integrated networks. The potential effect of I4.0 implementation on competitiveness (in particular, subsidiaries of foreign companies) and the nature of the modernization of global value chains, of which companies are a part, are considered on four specific examples. It is shown that in the I4.0 era, the competitive advantages of a business may depend both on the transformation of individual industries and on changes in relations between partners. These results are consistent with findings in the literature about the uncertainty and complexity of the digital economy in general, and confirm that there are problems with accurately assessing perceived benefits. I4.0 is based on the struggle for leadership, in which competitiveness is increased primarily by improving product quality, and not by reducing costs. At the same time, I4.0 contributes to the emergence of groups of closely interconnected, integrated with each other companies up to the erasure of clear boundaries between them. In this regard, there are companies that try to mislead stakeholders, which has a negative impact on the whole process of responsible investment, as it reduces investor confidence. Such activity is called impact (green) washing - imitation of the company’s implementation of an environmental or social mission. In connection with the observed large trend of the “green” agenda, greenwashing has become especially widespread. In the modern sense, greenwashing is a false positive communication of a company about its environmental impact on the environment, in other words, it is a misrepresentation by a company about a product, service or investment, in which they appear to be more environmentally friendly than they really are. The unwillingness to sacrifice the quality of growth in the name of its pace, the desire to ensure the priority of sustainable development have become global trends in the intellectual tradition of postmodernity. It is they who will determine the economic and financial agenda in the near future. Sustainable development is understood as such growth of national economies and companies that meets the needs of the present without prejudice to future generations, the ability to create value in the long term. To assess sustainability, countries, companies, regions and local communities use an assessment of three development vectors: the impact on the environment, actions to solve social problems and the effective management of the organization itself (ESG criteria, from the English Environmental, Social, Governance).
