This is the first attempt to use data on investor activities from the Pitchbook database, which has become increasingly popular in academic research. Beyond the framework of descriptive statistical analysis, a multidimensional statistical investigation using cluster analysis was conducted. The results show that there are two groups of angel investors in the Czech Republic. The first group is represented by investors who predominantly have a large active portfolio, as well as the number of total completed investments. On the other hand, the second cluster is made up of investors who conduct a smaller number of investments and are also in the position of the founder of a start-up. Not surprisingly, there are two main locations of angel investors in the Czech Republic, Brno and Prague. Both categories of typical investors are united by some demographic characteristics; for example, the market is dominated by middle-aged men with a completed Master's degree in Economics who invest in start-ups in the field of information and communication technologies. The main contribution of the paper consists in evaluating the demographic and investment profiles of angel investors operating in the Czech business environment. The results of the research have implications for upcoming research, the informal venture capital industry, and public policy beyond the Czech business environment, while developing tools for fostering an angel ecosystem. In today's globalized world, the boundaries of angel investors are often blurred. Just as start-ups have ambitions to expand internationally, informal venture capitalists are increasingly making cross-border deals. Based on theoretical review, the paper confirms that health can be connected with most of the investment priorities of the EU cohesion policy. Regarding the structure of the ESIFs in health, the results of the multivariate cluster analysis show that EU Member States which have higher regional inequalities in health, lower public health service capacities, lower government expenditure on health and lower self-reported health as good or very good direct a significant share of funds to finance health infrastructure and access to health. In the context of building resilient societies, in using different investment opportunities of the ESIFs for health, it is necessary to strengthen other fields related to health, to combine instruments of financing through an integrative approach and to monitor and evaluate the effects of investments continually. The Covid-19 pandemic proved to be a huge challenge in the last two years, and the war in Ukraine is currently creating uncertainty in the food industry. In our study, we specifically identify and examine risks threatening the food supply chains. In addition to classifying risks, we examine the dynamic capabilities that companies need to have when operating in the downstream supply chain processes in order to mitigate these risks. The research uses a qualitative methodology and explores the range of required corporate capabilities through interviews with manufacturers as focal companies of a food supply chain. We hypothesise that sensing capability and flexibility, as well as communication and coordination skills, will be key to managing threats. As a result of our study, we can ascertain that the security of supply chain operations does not only depend on supply chain capabilities. The aim of this paper is to explore the travel motivations of domestic rural tourists in Croatia and to identify a profile of rural tourists based on push travel motivation and tourist behaviour. An online survey was conducted on a convenient sample of 307 respondents. The collected data were analysed using factor analysis followed by cluster analysis. For rural tourists in Croatia, the most important travel motives are seeking relaxation and learning new things. Using a factor-cluster approach to market segmentation, the following four segments were identified: (1) Rural researchers and seekers of relaxation (16.8%), (2) Excitement seekers (29.0%), (3) Passive tourists (22.8%), and (4) Family rural tourists (31.4%). The study confirms the appropriateness of the push motives for segmenting tourists in emerging rural tourism destinations. The findings may help destination marketers to develop effective promotional and business strategies. Research was conducted on the convenience sample of 254 respondents whereas data was analyzed using regression analyses. The results show that the gender impacts the aggressive humor style, whereas age influences mainly aggressive and self-defeating humor styles. Furthermore, consumer conformity negatively impacts affiliative and positively aggressive and self-defeating humor styles. Consumer innovativeness positively affects the aggressive humor style, while the consumer uniqueness positively influences self-enhancing and self-defeating humor styles. Lastly, positive and negative humor styles, solely self-enhancing and aggressive humor styles positively impact the purchase intention. Researched constructs and relationships represent novel findings particularly within the context of identity control theory and provide valuable scientific and managerial implications. The aim of the paper is to test the measurement scale of consumer resilience to online privacy violation. Psychometric adequacy of the measurement scale was analyzed by assessing reliability, convergent validity and dimensionality of the measurement scale. The Cronbach alpha coefficient and explorative and confirmative factor analysis were applied. Research results point to the conclusion about the need to shorten the original measurement scales in a way that only positive statements are retained. The abbreviated version of the original scales satisfies the psychometric characteristics as it possesses the properties of reliability and convergent validity, and the dimensionality of the scale is consistent with the conceptualized dimensionality. It is of utmost importance that future professional accountants have IT education within formal accounting education. The goal of this paper is to analyse courses (modules) that cover IT and integrate IT into the accounting domain in higher education institutions at undergraduate and graduate levels at AACSB accredited higher education institutions in selected European countries. This paper also aims to identify a variety of information technologies that are covered in courses in undergraduate and graduate accounting degree programs. Content analysis was used for analysing web pages of 51 accounting study programmes. Results of the research complement previous academic studies by providing a better understanding of information technologies that are studied at the undergraduate and graduate accounting degree programmes in European context.
