This situation forces the public sector to focus on innovation and change. In this context, all private or public sectors benefit from information and communication technologies. Governments and international organizations must create the necessary regulations for societies to integrate into a new technology-driven industry. Industries will continue to evolve rapidly as it is now inevitable that these new technologies will be adopted to succeed in the market. In addition, 3D printing (additive manufacturing) is bringing about dramatic improvements in industries. Cloud and IoT services allow companies to store data more efficiently. Companies and businesses that cannot keep pace with innovation and transformation cannot adapt to the new economic system. Industry 4.0 offers many opportunities for more efficient and productive production processes. The future winners will be those businesses open to taking revolutionary steps in the industry.. At the same time, it is undeniable that the new digital age will increase inequality in income distribution worldwide. In this respect, governments and organizations should play a regulatory role to ensure that digital transformation has the least possible negative impact on businesses. These new technologies are becoming more affordable today, and some industries are taking cooperative steps to adopt them. A systematic literature review of Agri-food sector's digitalisation JF - AGRÁRINFORMATIKA / JOURNAL OF AGRICULTURAL INFORMATICS J2 - AGRÁRINFORMATIKA / AGRICULT INFORM VL - 14 PY - 2024 IS - 2 SP - 26 EP - 42 PG - 17 SN - 2061-862X DO - 10.17700/jai.2023.14.2.707 UR - https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/34550877 ID - 34550877 AB - Digitalisation supporting business processes will be increasingly important for the agrifood industry and the related supply chain. The primary goal of this research is to highlight research works investigating the agrifood sector with digitalisation, based on structured literature collection and using a nomenclature of an internationally recognised database, namely Eurostat. Systematic literature review was done in order to achieve the goal set using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) methodology and the keywords of digitalisation and agri/agro-food. The meta-data of Scopus and Web of Science databases were used for this study. 92 articles were included in the qualitative analysis and results show that the topic on digitalisation with the agri-food industry and/or supply chain has been increasing year by year. Furthermore, the most important topic dealt by a high percentage of the articles is the e-business, in particular the level of the technological solutions for the integration with customers and suppliers. Moreover, the pandemic situation over the past few years has drawn the attention of the researchers to analyse the effects of COVID-19. These technologies offer new opportunities in automation, data-driven decision making, and customer service that can have a significant impact on companies' competitiveness and economic growth. At the same time, it is important to understand that the general application of GPT and AI alone does not guarantee a company's competitive advantage. There are many factors to consider, and the pros and cons must be weighed carefully. Ethical and legal issues such as data protection and non-discrimination are critical. In addition, adapting to technological development and a changing environment is key to long-term success. In this paper, the importance of corporate application of GPT and MI, advantages and disadvantages, ethical and legal aspects, challenges of regulation and development, as well as the importance of cooperation and training are reviewed. Pursuing reasonable and responsible use can enable companies and the economy to improve competitiveness while protecting society and the rights of individuals. The first part of this paper introduces the Generative Pre-Trained Transformer (GPT) and some key concepts related to ChatGPT. In the second part, the effects, opportunities, and limitations of GPT on businesses follow. The objective of this research project is to carefully dissect the complexities and multiplicity dimensions of the actors involved in the innovation procedure in the ICT firms located in these countries based on a highly organised mixed-method approach. Outcome expectations are expected to yield results beyond contributing positively to the pool of academic knowledge and practical gains that could be put into use at once within the sphere. Iron supports various industries, particularly construction, manufacturing, and infrastructure development. The study employs descriptive analysis, quantitative measures, and correlation coefficients to analyse the dynamics of the iron trade. The research highlights Australia and Brazil as significant exporters in the global iron ore market, with China as the primary importer. Network analysis reveals China's extensive commercial connections and strong trade relationships with key exporting countries. Correlation coefficients demonstrate positive associations between Brazil's Iron Exports, Brazilian GDP, Chinese construction sector GDP, and world construction sector GDP, emphasising their interdependence. Understanding these dynamics is essential for policymakers, economists, and industry stakeholders in navigating the complexities of the global economy. The study provides valuable insights into the international iron trade, its impact on the construction sector, and broader economic dynamics. It contributes to informed decision-making and promotes sustainable economic and social development. Subsequently, the LoRaWAN network is presented, which can communicate with the network server available on the Internet through gateways. Their data rate and transmission power can be optimised depending on the distance from the base stations and the time required for communication can be measured in tens of seconds. In the second major part of the article, Internet of Things devices that also communicate with each other using the LoRa network will be presented. It allows smart devices used in our everyday life to communicate, which are supported by sensors and transmitters to record states and perform actions.IoT devices are also becoming increasingly common in agriculture. Farmers who are already using the technology can better monitor their livestock and crops. IoT can also be used effectively in many areas of agriculture, including dairy, vegetable, fruit and greenhouse operations. LA - English DB - MTMT ER -
