Consequently, understanding and addressing energy poverty requires a holistic approach. energy poverty is also shaped by factors such as the energy efficiency ofdwellings, the cost of energy, and individual energy consumption behaviors. Early scholarly contributions, notably Brenda Boardman’s seminal work, established the foundational understanding of energy poverty as a condition where households are unable to afford adequate energy services to maintaina healthy and comfortable living environment. Building on Boardman's work, subsequent research has further refined these factors, integrating aspectslike energy efficiency, housing quality, and the broader socio-economic context to provide a more nuanced understanding of energy poverty dynamics. The complexity behind the concept of energy poverty has led to varied measurement approaches globally, with no single, universally accepted standardfor assessing energy poverty, leading to challenges in international comparability and policy implementation. Recognizing these complexities, theEuropean Union has moved towards a more comprehensive understanding, seeking to integrate various dimensions into a cohesive Framework. TheEuropean Union's approach often incorporates metrics such as the inability to keep homes adequately warm, the presence of leaking roofs or dampwalls, and high housing cost overburden rates to capture the lived experiences of energy-poor households. This research employs a methodologycentered on four basic indicators extracted from Eurostat data, enabling a comprehensive examination of energy poverty's social, income, and housingquality components. Specifically, the selected indicators – percentage of total population living in a dwelling with structural defects, percentage ofhouseholds unable to keep home adequately warm, and housing cost overburden rate – offer a framework for assessing the multifaceted nature of energypoverty across EU member states. The general trend indicates a slight improvement in the level of energy poverty across EU countries, albeit withpersistent variations between the best and worst performers. While some policy measures may be effective broadly, others require refinement to addressspecific national or regional challenges. Furthermore, an increased focus on energy efficiency policies and renewable energy sources has been identifiedas a key driver for alleviating energy poverty, particularly in the long-term. This underscores the critical need for agile and adaptable policy responsesthat can swiftly address emergent challenges while fostering long-term resilience in energy systems. However, in Moldova, generational differences were observed in Competency levels, with Generation Z scoring lower than older cohorts, while no generational differences were found in Hungary. Sectoral analysis revealed higher job satisfaction among private-sector employees in Hungary compared to the public sector, whereas no such differences were evident in Moldova.Organizational size emerged as a significant factor influencing both human capital dimensions and job satisfaction in both countries. Micro-sized organizations reported the lowest scores, particularly in Moldova, while large organizations in Hungary showed higher levels of satisfaction, driven by better pay, benefits, and working conditions. The study underscores the importance of targeted interventions, such as skills development programs, reforms in the public sector, and tailored support for micro-sized organizations, to enhance employee satisfaction and optimize human capital utilization. These findings offer valuable insights into the relationship between human capital and job satisfaction in transition economies, providing actionable recommendations for policymakers and organizational leaders. The main issues are analyzed from the perspective of the differences in the learning processes, as we can highlight different learning methods, motivations, or tools. We draw your attention to the fact that most of the research results cited in the chapter can be considered valid in the Hungarian cultural and economic conditions. Through some empirical studies, we highlight the relevance of different competencies in the learning process and discuss the roles of the different learning styles, motives, and the role of the changing learning environment. Our own research results show that the person’s learning style and the organizational strategy may lead to diverse learning processes, depending on the goals of the person or the organization. Also, we give the definitions of the basic concepts related to the topic, such as the learning process and competencies, together with the framework of workplace learning. Then we describe the characteristics of the learning processes in higher education and the changing learning environment. Diversity in higher education refers to the presence and inclusion of individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, including but not limited to different ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, socioeconomic statuses, religions, disabilities, and nationalities, within educational institutions such as colleges and universities. This diversity enriches the learning environment and fosters a more inclusive and culturally rich campus community. Exposure to diverse perspectives, experiences, and ideas enhances the quality of education. Students learn to think critically, communicate effectively, and engage in meaningful discussions when they interact with peers from different backgrounds. Graduates who have experienced diversity in higher education are better equipped to thrive in diverse workplaces, fostering a more inclusive and tolerant society. A tanácsadók jövőbeli alkalmazását mindkét országban leginkább a versenyképesség növelése motiválja. A kutatás új adatokat közöl a tanácsadói iparágról a régióban.
