	abstract = {While the success rate of lean transformations is low, soft management techniques such as change management methodologies are rarely mentioned in the lean literature. Combining the different approaches represented by lean and change management can support the success of lean projects and the organisation. As lean transformations are inevitably radical changes in organisations, they must be supported suitably by change management techniques. We show how the success of such a change can be forecasted and how the preparation and implementation phase can be supported with the help of change management. This paper presents a case study where a new lean tool, an online kanban board, is introduced into the operation of a service SME. Based on the case study, we recommend using the presented change management tools for lean implementations.},

	abstract = {Digitalization and technological advances develop together with our society. The European Commission intends to monitor this development using the International Digital and Society Index (I-DESI) and provide an objective comparison of the participating countries. This comparison of the counties can be an important part of the roadmap of digital transformation for companies and other participants in the market. The aim of this study is to further analyze the 2020 data of I-DESI using multivariate statistical methods not included in the official report. Our objective is to show whether there are differences between the EU and non-EU countries (discriminant analysis, variance analysis), whether the dimensions of the I-DESI index are overlapping (correlation analysis, factor analysis), and whether different country groups can be formed (cluster analysis). Answering these questions, we can give a useful tool to companies for a more successful digital transformation.},

	abstract = {Lean and agile methods are now widely used in various fields. Seeing their success, management consultancy firms also want to take advantage of using them. In this case study, the company selects the appropriate task management tool for their operation, the kanban board, and implements it. The implementation process is supported by quantitative analysis. In order to track the introduction progress of the kanban board, a key performance index is defined: the board activity, which is the number of operations performed on the board in a given time period. Based on the evaluation of over 26 weeks’ data, board activity proved to be an appropriate indicator of the kanban board’s reception, operation, and stability. The individual indicators examined, however, were not found to be suitable for performance appraisal.},
