This study addresses the research gap in demographic segmentation and destination preference among Hungarian adults aged 18-34, a crucial yet understudied market segment within Croatian tourism. Our analysis integrates descriptive statistics and ordinal regression to assess how tourism preferences influence satisfaction. A two-step clustering method identifies demographic clusters, further analyzed to determine their visitation patterns to 11 Croatian cities, revealing significant travel behaviour insights. The findings reveal distinctive clusters with varied travel behaviours and preferences, indicating that tailored marketing strategies could significantly enhance the tourism experience. The travel patterns suggest a move towards personalized travel experiences and an inclination towards autonomy and comfort in accommodation choices. The study enriches the discourse in tourism segmentation and destination analysis, suggesting that understanding the intricate preferences of demographic segments can lead to more effective marketing approaches. Practically, it offers actionable insights for tourism operators, marketers, and policymakers to fine-tune their strategies to cater to this demographic, potentially leading to increased visitation and deeper engagement with Croatian tourism offerings. This presentation delves into the integration of mindfulness practices within the realm of sport, aiming to elucidate its potential implications and applications. Background and Research Question: Mindfulness, rooted in contemplative traditions, has garnered substantial attention within various fields for its capacity to enhance well-being and performance. Within the context of sport, the integration of mindfulness presents a promising avenue for optimizing athletic performance, mental resilience, and overall holistic development. This presentation addresses the fundamental research question: How can mindfulness be effectively utilized in sport? Method: The methodology employed involves a comprehensive review of existing literature spanning disciplines such as sport psychology, neuroscience, and contemplative studies. By synthesizing insights from diverse sources, this review aims to provide a nuanced understanding of the theoretical underpinnings and practical applications of mindfulness within sport. Results and Discussion: The synthesis of literature reveals multifaceted implications of mindfulness in sport. Firstly, mindfulness practices offer athletes tools to cultivate present-moment awareness, thereby enhancing focus, concentration, and attentional control during training and competition. Moreover, mindfulness interventions have been shown to mitigate the detrimental effects of stress, anxiety, and performancerelated pressure, fostering psychological resilience and emotional regulation. Furthermore, the integration of mindfulness in sport has been associated with improvements in overall well-being, promoting a sense of balance, fulfillment, and intrinsic motivation among athletes. Discussion extends to the implementation of mindfulness-based interventions within athletic contexts, considering factors such as intervention design, dosage, and athlete readiness. Additionally, the ethical considerations and potential challenges associated with integrating mindfulness into sport are critically examined. Conclusion: In conclusion, this presentation underscores the transformative potential of mindfulness within the domain of sport. By elucidating theoretical frameworks and empirical findings, it provides a foundation for future research and practical applications aimed at harnessing mindfulness to optimize athletic performance, well-being, and holistic development. Embracing mindfulness within sport represents a paradigm shift, inviting athletes, coaches, and stakeholders to explore novel avenues for personal and professional growth. Methods: a primary research study was conducted to present the results of semi-structured in-depth interviews with parents of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (N=25). The aim of the study was to provide a comprehensive summary of the experiences of a group of 25 interview participants whose children with autism spectrum disorder participated in an obstacle course movement development programme. The interviews explored the impact of obstacle course movement development on the children's various skills (motor, social, communication and emotional/behavioural). Results: the parents' experiences confirmed that the obstacle course physical activity programme, which was provided for at least six months, was not only effective in developing children's gross motor and fine motor skills, but also led to positive changes in social relationships, social skills, communication skills and emotional behaviour. Mindfulness, with roots in Eastern meditation practices, has entered the tourism sector as a transformative element, contributing to the sustainability and well-being of both individuals and communities. This paper investigates how mindfulness-based tourism products (MBTPs) can enhance the tourist experience, facilitate personal growth, and promote a sustainable future. Method: Adopting an interdisciplinary approach, this study synthesizes empirical research across psychology, tourism and mindfulness to explore the integration of mindfulness in tourism. An in-depth literature review examines the correlation between mindfulness practices and a spectrum of health benefits, which are presented within a conceptual framework. This framework showcases the diverse and interconnected outcomes of mindfulness, such as increased compassion, reduced stress, and improved cognitive functions, which can be leveraged to enrich tourism experiences. Results and Discussion: The findings reveal that mindfulness practices lead to a comprehensive range of physical, psychological, and spiritual benefits. These include enhanced immune function, reduced medical costs, increased efficiency, and improved psychosomatic health, all of which are pertinent to creating transformative tourism experiences. The paper discusses how these benefits can be actualized through MBTPs to support inner growth, community well-being, and sustainable tourism development. The potential of MBTPs to foster increased awareness and conscious consumption patterns among tourists is also explored, highlighting the role of mindfulness in promoting environmental responsibility and cultural appreciation. Conclusion: The analysis culminates in the proposition that MBTPs hold significant promise for the future of tourism. By facilitating transformative experiences that prioritize well-being and environmental stewardship, mindfulness practices within tourism can lead to a paradigm shift towards more meaningful and responsible travel. The conclusion underscores the need for the tourism industry to embrace mindfulness not just as an adjunct but as a central component of the tourist experience, reorienting the industry towards practices that foster personal growth, community connection, and sustainability. As the paper suggests, the integration of mindfulness into tourism products can reshape the industry, aligning it with the aspirations of modern travelers seeking transformative and rejuvenating journeys. The developmental role of play is used in many areas, education and training being no exception. In this article, the role and importance of toys in physical education sessions for pupils in the specialised teaching service who are in physical education are examined. The research included 120 students from schools in Hajdúböszörmény and Hajdúdorog, who are part of the Hajdúböszörmény branch of the Hajdú-Bihar County Pedagogical Service and are classified as students in physical education. We were looking for answers to questions such as what sports or movement games they play in PE sessions, how much they like them and how motivated they are by playing them. The results of the research confirm that the positive personality of the physical education teacher, the colourful toolbox and the methods he uses, such as the use of movement games, motivate pupils to actively participate in physical education lessons. By exploiting the motivational role of games, both children's attitudes towards physical education and their activity in class can be shaped. According to the pupils who participated in the sessions, it was found that they felt the positive benefits of the PE sessions in terms of performance, fitness and resilience and self-confidence. Dogs can encourage the owner to engage in daily walks, play, sports and other interactions, which are beneficial for physical, mental and social well-being, as has been proven by various studies. The aim of our research was to investigate the role and impact of dogs on dog owners' physical activity, dog interactions and mental health. To achieve our goal, we created an online questionnaire that was completed by 220 dog owner respondents. Our research sought to understand how dog owners develop a relationship with their companion animal, the role of the dog in their active leisure time and the impact of the dog on the owner's mental health. We used a four-part questionnaire to obtain our answers. The first part covered demographic questions, the second part focused on the respondent's dog and the time spent with him/her doing sports. In the third part, the Monash Dog-Owner (MDORS) (Cavo et al., 2016) questionnaire was used and in the last part, the Mental Health Test was used. Our research has confirmed that exercising with dogs has positive effects on humans. Walking with a dog encourages exercise and also encourages the owner to spend time outdoors. Around 26% of the people in the study exercise together and 77.3% walk with their dog. The mental health of dog owners is medium and the level of happiness is above average. These results confirm that promoting dog ownership can help to achieve the objectives of public health strategies to encourage people to be more active, to exercise or to improve quality of life and health.
