This way, farmers can save money, and animal breeders can support their plant grower colleagues by buying domestic products. With this, we can also help the environment by not importing large amount of grains, and reducing the ecological footprint. It was examined how soybean and soybean-free feeding affected the laying hens, in terms of productivity, death loss, dirty eggs rate and broken/waste egg rate. Our main goal was to examine the economic impact, of the above-mentioned ways of feeding. The investigation has been done in two separate farms, with the same technology used in the barns, and the same Lohmann Brown Classic laying hens, with a similar stock density. It was great to see that the change in the feedstuff did not affect the flocks overall production. We can see in the examination results, that the rate of dirty eggs were more common in case of the soy free fed flock. The research proved that soybean-free feeding has much better economic outcome, than the regular feeding with the use of soybeans. The imported soybeans (from America) were replaced by domestically purchased sunflower meal. With the use of sunflower, the farms economic status got better, and the logistics were easier to handle. Millions of forints were saved, just by the feeding method. On top of this, the ecological footprint had been decreased, as the material of the feedstuff were bought domestically, and long transportation was not required. Added values, such as the statement of "GMO-free product" were created thanks to this soybean-free feeding method. A másik fontos tényező, amit vizsgáltunk, az állattartással töltött idő megtérülésének és haszonáldozati költségének a kérdése, azaz a termék értékesítésből származó bevétel a költségek levonása után lesz-e legalább annyi, hogy az 1 befektetett munkaóráért kapott összeg eléri a garantált bérminimum összegét. A kutatás során naprakész dokumentációt vezettünk a felmerülő költségekről és ráfordításokról. Ezeket költségnemenként elkülönítve rögzítettük. A vizsgálat módszerének a lényege, hogy a tárgyidőszak kezdetétől egészen a tárgyidőszak végéig, tehát az értékesítésig gyűjtöttük az adatokat a realizált költségekről. A tárgyidőszakban összegyűjtött eredményeket költségnemenként elkülönítve táblázatokba foglaltuk és diagramokkal ábrázoltuk. A táblázatok két időszak adatait foglalják össze, ugyanis a 2020. Erre jelentős hatást gyakorolt a gazdasági válság illetve a takarmányárak növekedése. Ezen hatások érvényesülése nélkül kaptunk volna reális képet a tevékenység jövedelmezőségéről. Abstract The purpose of our research is to examine, through the example of a specific domestic family farm, whether the costs of raising a herd of holstein-friesian bulls placed in fattening exceed the income received after sale. The other important factor what is examined is the question of the return and cost of the time spent keeping animals, that is will the income from the sale of the product after deducting the costs be at least such that the amount received for 1 working hour invested reaches the amount of the guaranteed minimum wage. During the research, we kept up-to-date documentation of the incurred costs and expenditures. These were recorded separately by cost type. The essence of the investigation method is that we collected data on realized costs from the beginning of the subject period until the end of the subject period, so until sales. The results collected in the subject period were separated by cost type into tables and represented with diagrams. The tables summarize the data of two periods, as the costs of 2020 and 2021 have been separated. We started the research by fattening 25 Holstein-Friesian bull calves, using grain feed and forages produced by the farm at cost price. The final fattening weight was determined depending on market demand. At the time of the sale, the purchase prices were extremely favourable, which resulted in an unexpected income. The economic crisis and the increase in feed prices had a significant impact on this. Without these effects, we would have received a realistic picture of the profitability of the activity. In stable market conditions, the time spent working, so the opportunity cost, would not have been returned. The key to the profitability of the activity is the minimization of costs, which can be achieved most effectively by reducing feed costs. However, the arguments and rationality are in favour of fattening the meat utilization direction. Regardless of the results of the research, we do not see any significant potential in the profitable fattening of holstein-friesian bulls. Our data generated in the past years shows great results, but the often-exponential changes may override the meaning of these values. However, new times opens new opportunities: this 100-week egg production technology, designed and developed on firm with excellent economic result provides additional economical and social opportunities fulfilling an important role in an ever-changing environment. The technology described in the thesis with its particular parameters highlights the importance of long-term, uncompromised, natural pattern based approach. This approach opens positive value innovation and development circles and enables such technological approach, that ensures continuous improvement, sustainable operation meeting also the social requirements. The demonstrated results from the presented study are excellent, but in terms of other revenues it is necessary to establish complete systems and to carry out appropriate verification audits before their practical application. AB - Temperature and precipitation are the most important meteorological variables influencing crop yields of cereals. In the paper we use and compare two procedures, namely Factor analysis with special transformation and multiple linear regression analysis with stepwise method in determining the influence of monthly mean temperatures and monthly precipitation amounts of April, May, June, July and August for determining the crop yields of maize, wheat, barley and lye. When comparing the results received on the two methods, those variables were retained that were concurrently significant for determining the crop yields for both cases. It is found that for maize yield the most important variables in decreasing order are August mean temperature with negative, as well as July and June precipitation amounts with positive association. For wheat yield, June and May mean temperatures, while for barley yield the same but in reverse order are the most important variables, all with negative relationship. Concerning rye yield, April precipitation amount with positive and June mean temperature with negative association are the decisive variables. Among the examined cereals, maize yield is the most sensitive to precipitation. The here-mentioned significant relationships may have a predictive power in projecting the actual crop yield.
