A hegyvidéki területeken (beleértve Hargita megyét) a nagy farmok meglehetősen ritkák, és a kisgazdaságok aránya magas nemcsak a farmok számában, hanem a földhasználati arányokban is. Ez a helyzet számos kérdést magába foglal. Nevezetesen: melyek a különböző farmok főbb jellegzetességei, a kisgazdaságok képesek-e a túlélésre, melyek a farmok, ill. farmerek fejlesztési elképzelései? E kérdések megválaszolása érdekében többféle adatgyűjtési és elemzési módszert használtunk. A szakirodalom feldolgozása és a hivatalos statisztikák elemzése mellett saját kérdőíves felvételt is készítettünk. Az adatbázis összeállítása után a szokásos elemzések mellett használtuk a mesterséges intelligencia modelljét is. Elemzéseink alapján a jelenlegi birtokszerkezet némi, lassú koncentrációjára lehet számítani. Population growth in developing countries is in line with population movement from rural to urban areas due to easy access to jobs, welfare, and the economy. Indirectly, urbanization will burden urban areas in various vital sectors and contribute directly to waste generation. Unscientific waste handling causes health hazards and urban environmental degradation. Solid Waste Management is a formidable task in Indonesia that will become more complicated with increasing urbanization, changing lifestyles, and increasing consumerism. Several current obstacles related to waste management have made the situation even worse. Current inappropriate waste disposal practices have created severe environmental and public health problems. The purpose of this paper is to critically review the impact of urbanization on waste generation, what is currently being done, and the benefit of integrating a circular economy into waste management to address the waste problem in Indonesia. This review provides an overview of urbanization trends, the projected increase in waste due to urbanization, solid waste status, and current waste management in Indonesia. An integration circular economy approach provides an overview of the benefits of implementing this approach in five crucial sectors in Indonesia. The circular economy approach is expected to be one of the future solutions to the problem of waste management in Indonesia.}, year = {2024}, eissn = {2730-5988}, orcid-numbers = {Wikurendra, Edza Aria/0000-0002-5020-375X; Csonka, Arnold/0000-0003-4735-4247} } @article{MTMT:34721020, title = {Navigating Inflation Challenges. In the euro area, it remained low between 2010 and 2020. The European Central Bank has even had to take action against the emergence of deflation. The situation changed significantly in 2021. Inflation jumped to levels not seen for 40 years in the EU. Our study aims to use artificial intelligence to forecast inflation. We also use artificial intelligence to forecast stock index changes. Based on the forecasts, we propose portfolio reallocation decisions to protect against inflation. The forecasting literature does not address the importance of structural breaks in the time series, which, among other things, can affect both the pattern recognition and prediction capabilities of various machine learning models. The novelty of our study is that we used the Zivot–Andrews unit root test to determine the breakpoints and partitioned the time series into training and testing datasets along these points. We then examined which database partition gives the most accurate prediction. This information can be used to re-balance the portfolio. Two different AI-based prediction algorithms were used (GRU and LSTM), and a hybrid model (LSTM–GRU) was also included to investigate the predictability of inflation. Our results suggest that the average error of the inflation forecast is a quarter of that of the stock market index forecast. Inflation developments have a fundamental impact on equity and government bond returns. If we obtain a reliable estimate of the inflation forecast, we have time to rebalance the portfolio until the inflation shock is incorporated into government bond returns. Our results not only support investment decisions at the national economy level but are also useful in the process of rebalancing international portfolios.}, year = {2024}, orcid-numbers = {Bareith, Tibor/0000-0002-9971-9597} } @article{MTMT:34720292, title = {Mesterséges intelligencia a precíziós állattartók vezetői döntéseiben. The current status of domestic heritage tourism in Kenya remains under-researched leaving many critical areas of interest requiring more research attention and redress. These needs also have to be examined in the Kenyan domestic heritage tourism context with a view to creating and satisfying higher demand for tourists. This research expands the widespread theory of planned behavior (TPB) by adding motivation and perceived safety and security as predictors of visit intention. In total, 802 respondents filled out the structured questionnaire, of which 693 questionnaires (86%) were found to be valid. The findings of this study validated the TPB with respect to heritage visitation in a domestic tourism context. It was further established that the expanded TPB model and its variables were applicable and more efficacious in directly predicting visit intention to historical heritage attractions. These results reveal the key determinants of the willingness of domestic tourists to visit historical heritage sites.
