Additionally, the system can be tuned from the tachyon regime to one with massless excitations with linear dispersion and one with gapped spectrum. In particular, by examining the static response function, we look at how the Friedel oscillations emerge. Our findings indicate that the response function vanishes in the zero-temperature limit, suppressing Friedel oscillations, in contrast to the traditional Hermitian case. We find that temperature, which typically cancels out quantum effects, activates Friedel oscillations near the non-Hermitian imaginary impurity.
