We investigated the relationship between sleep duration and mental health outcomes in a cross-sectional survey conducted on a homogenous sample of healthy governmental employees (N = 1212). Data on sleep duration, subjective health, psychological stress, sense of coherence, life satisfaction and work ability along with sociodemographic data were collected. Sleep duration was significantly longer, and mental health outcomes and work ability were significantly better among those in at least good subjective health. Fitting mental health outcomes on sleep duration suggested a quadratic or fractional polynomial function, therefore these were tested and the best-fitting models were selected. Longer than 8 h of sleep duration was associated with a decreasing sense of coherence and decreasing work ability. However, psychological stress and life satisfaction were positively impacted by more than 8 h of sleep. Sleep duration likely has an optimum range for health, similar to other variables reflecting homeostatic functions. However, this is difficult to prove due to the left-skewed distribution of sleep duration.}, year = {2023}, eissn = {1660-4601}, orcid-numbers = {Kósa, Karolina/0000-0001-7867-2403; Bácsné Bába, Éva/0000-0002-0733-6637} } @article{MTMT:33716202, title = {Multiscenario Simulation of Land-Use Change in Hubei Province, China Based on the Markov-FLUS Model}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/33716202}, author = {Zhu, K. and Cheng, Y. and Zang, W. and Zhou, Q. and El Archi, Y. and Mousazadeh, Hossein and Mohamed, Moaaz Kabil Mahmoud and Vargáné Csobán, Katalin and Dávid, Lóránt Dénes}, doi = {10.3390/land12040744}, journal-iso = {LAND-BASEL}, journal = {LAND (BASEL)}, volume = {12}, unique-id = {33716202}, year = {2023}, eissn = {2073-445X}, orcid-numbers = {Dávid, Lóránt Dénes/0000-0001-7880-9860} } @article{MTMT:33653783, title = {Industrial 4.0 Revolution: Can it Positively Step intoa Sustainable Hospitality?}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/33653783}, author = {Elmohandes, Nirmeen and Vargáné Csobán, Katalin}, doi = {10.19041/APSTRACT/2022/2/4}, journal-iso = {APSTRACT}, journal = {APSTRACT - APPLIED STUDIES IN AGRIBUSINESS AND COMMERCE}, volume = {16}, unique-id = {33653783}, issn = {1789-221X}, abstract = {Technological advancements recently affected production, social and sustainable development. Few publications have addressed the industry 4.0 contribution to the sustainable hospitality industry. In this study, we review the ways and effectiveness of industry 4.0 in achieving sustainable development goals in the hospitality sector. Due to the modernity of the issue, resources used in this paper included articles from databases like SCOPUS, Sage, Elsevier, and google scholar using keywords such as big data analytics, simulation, Artificial intelligence, Industry 4.0 in hospitality, sustainable hotels, Industry 4.0 adaption in hospitality and smart hospitality system. This literature paper outline has five main sections—section one introduces industry 4.0. Section two is a literature review that includes Industry 4.0 connotation, sustainable development (SD), (SD) goals, challenges of (SD), and industry 4.0 solution for SD challenges. Industry 4.0 and sustainable hospitality. Section three is the methodology. A turizmus szervezeti piaca érintettjeinek koordinálása egy desztinációmenedzsment szervezet feladata lehetne, azonban a vonalas kiterjedés és településhálózat, a sajátos elhelyezkedés, a kedvezőtlen demográfia számos problémát vet fel. Egy fejlesztési koncepció elkészítéséhez végzett vizsgálat eredményeit összegzi a tanulmány, beazonosítva a két érintetti csoport véleményének azonosságait és különbözőségeit a vizsgált térség turisztikai igényeit illetően. Ez kiterjed a preferált turizmusfajtákra, az egyes turisztikai terméket alkotó szolgáltatásokra vonatkozóan (abszolút érték, rangsor, átlaghoz való viszony). Az Alsó-Ipoly mente egyes aspektusok (vízi és vízparti, kerékpáros és ökoturizmus) tekintetében különleges pozíciót foglalhat el speciális termék- és desztinációfejlesztés, illetve élménymenedzsment, esetleg látogatómenedzsment elemek kombinálásával. Bár a szervezeti piac erőforrásainak korlátozottsága határt szab a fogyasztói elképzelések megvalósításának, azonban a fejlesztés sikerességét a határok kijelölése befolyásolja, ami inkább minőségi, mint mennyiségi kérdés, és a szegmentálással és a differenciált kínálattal függ össze. A desztinációmenedzsment szervezeti funkciókat pedig az aktuálisan megvalósításra kerülő projekt vezető szervezete látja el. Így a fenntartási időszakok átfedése miatt, amennyiben a projektek kellően összehangoltak, TDM szervezet hiányában is folyamatos turisztikai koordináció valósul meg. A fogyasztói piacra irányuló kutatás eredményei rámutatnak arra, hogy a korlátozott természeti erőforrásokból származó problémák megoldása nem csupán a turisztikai szolgáltatók és fenntartók oldaláról, de a turisták tekintetében is jelentős piaci magatartás-változtatást igényel.}, year = {2022}, pages = {8-19}, orcid-numbers = {Mondok, Anita/0000-0002-6444-970X} } @{MTMT:33115487, title = {Technological Innovations in Event Sport Tourism. The aims of the present research are to explore the characteristics of the tourism sector in the spa town of Hajdúszoboszló, and to identify the trends having shaped its tourism in the previous decade. Time-series analysis of secondary tourism data as well as a questionnaire survey among visitors were conducted to assess the market position of the spa town. The results imply that both the well-balanced ratio of domestic and international guests and the diversity of international source markets were favourable for the town. Therefore, analyzing the scientific production in a particular research area to identify future research directions and streams has become inevitable. This study adopted a two-step methodological approach—bibliometric (294 articles) and content-based analyses (63 articles)—to dissect tourism and real estate literature. Using different analytical modules and software to answer the six proposed research questions, the study findings reveal that the tourism and real estate literature still does not follow a specific research direction but is rather intertwined with many other research areas. Additionally, the results highlight some distinctive points in the tourism and real estate literature, including how it is predominantly composed of practical studies based on primary data and applied in various spatial units as case studies (e.g., coastal areas, cities and national and international units). Finally, this study explains how the findings will be beneficial for identifying the future research agenda in the tourism real estate scientific field by providing a clear roadmap for the research streams of this field.}, year = {2022}, eissn = {2071-1050}, orcid-numbers = {Varga, Imre/0000-0003-0839-2777; Dávid, Lóránt Dénes/0000-0001-7880-9860} }
