The generally positive experience of using digital resources MS-Teams, Mirapolis, Zoom, etc. in teaching is complicated by the presence of some technical shortcomings. Because of this, when conducting online lectures, there is an unstable attention of students, and there are problems of objectivity of testing, while when conducting practical classes in a foreign language, it is difficult for a teacher to conduct an objective assessment of students' oral speech. The authors carried out a methodological adjustment of certain aspects of online distance learning in order to improve its quality. Identified and tested in pilot experiments are such methodological tools to enhance the attention of students and improve the effectiveness of lecture courses, such as elements of general interactivity, as well as interactivity using the algorithms of Kahoot and Mentimeter electronic systems. The use of these electronic systems makes it possible to more effectively use the significant potential that mobile phones, tablets, or personal computers of students represent to improve the quality of online learning. It is noted that interactive inclusions in the lecture contribute to the strengthening of students' voluntary attention. The methodological methods introduced by the lecturers for the individualization of teaching tasks in the discipline of pedagogy of higher education and double mini-testing in higher mathematics at PGUPS contributed to a better assimilation of lecture material by students. For practical classes in the discipline "foreign language in professional activity" at the Bonch-Bruevich University, a three-stage technology for independent work of students was developed using video auditing and mental mapping to prepare for communication during the classroom. Methodology: This is a quantitative research study that uses scientometrics methods. The main data collection tools include the Mendeley Altmetrics tool, the Scopus citation analysis tools, SJR list. The sample size included all published articles for two years in 110 journals in nursing available in the SJR. Data were collected respectively using usage, including review of scientific texts, using citation tools in Scopus, and Altmetrics Scopus tools in Mendeley. The data consisted of the frequency of readership in Mendeley and the frequency of citations in the Scopus. The data were analyzed by the Spearman test using SPSS software. Finding: According to findings, there was a significant and positive correlation between the frequencies of readership in Mendeley and the frequentation of the same articles in the Scopus. Spearman's test result for the first year was 0.649 and for the second year, 0.539 (both at a significant level of 0.001) which indicates a moderate relationship between them. Result: Although the performance of Mendeley and Scopus is similar in some ways there are still differences in their cases assessed and therefore the test result showed a moderate correlation between them. It seems that these two tools can be used in parallel to evaluate the quality of articles and rank magazines. Finally, the purpose of qualitative evaluation of articles and journals help to determine the type of measurement tool and prioritize them.
