The method is an improved version of the Combined Geoelectric Inversion (CGI) robustified by involving Cauchy-Steiner weights in an Iteratively Reweighted Least Squares technique. The new procedure is compared to the Fourier series expansion-based 1.5D and the CGI methods as well as to the broadly applied RES2DINV inversion procedure. The field measurements are performed during stone exploration in an active quarry on the south-western slopes of the Mátra mountains, in northern Hungary. It is shown that the CGWI method gives stable and robust parameter estimation with acceptable accuracy. In this paper, we present ERT interpretation results obtained at an archaeological site in Szendrő village in northeastern Hungary, where a 17th century fortress once stood. Several historical notes and a collapsed entrance recall the existence of tunnels under the fortress and a water well of uncertain depth. To detect these structures, geoelectrical multielectrode measurements were carried out using conventional and quasi-null arrays. The quasi-null array applies the arrangement of the current (A and B) and potential electrodes (M and N) in a special way, i.e., the electrodes A, M, B, N follow each other in line in special distances from each other. The horizontal sensitivity of the resistivity profiling method using these types of arrays has been proven to be better than that of the Wenner or other conventional arrays. The comparative study aims not just to investigate the archeological features, but to test the sensitivity of the non-traditional quasi-null arrays to these two-dimensional inhomogeneities. As a result, the optimal array can be chosen, and the identification and delineation of shallow structures can be made more reliably. The resolution of this technique is very good. It is able to detect e.g., fractures due to their decreased mechanical resistance if they are covered, but in a shallow depth with a reasonable sampling distance. An example will be demonstrated where fracture system of a slowly-moving landslide was characterized enabling also its delineation. In spite of that its maximal penetration is only about 0.5 m it may also give information from remarkable depths in case if fractures reach close to the surface indicating the borders of geological structures in larger depth. An example from India will be shown to present such results. All results have been verified by geoelectric measurements. From the point of view of building materials, if we look only at the increased battery production and the construction of the halls required for this, reinforced concrete, of which thousands of m3 are produced every year, has an absolute advantage. The production of a simple reinforced concrete element is a very long process, from the raw material extracted to the delivery of the finished product to the construction site. In the 21st century, it has become clear to us that the future lies in robotisation and the constant introduction of electronics. The more machines, the more hazards. As in any other factory, the improvements in the plant under review are being made in parallel with the need to ensure safety at work. Newly installed and/or commissioned machines and equipment are subject to preliminary and periodic inspections and maintenance. This is no different for the concrete mixing plant of the company under investigation, which is constantly being improved and refined in order to develop the most efficient and safest production technologies. The world of work, the modern manufacturing industry, is full of dangers and hazards in the form of accidents at work and occupational diseases. The boom in production and the economy, combined with ever-increasing expectations of work, has led to an increase in the number of accidents at work, including occupational diseases and fatalities. Lack of knowledge of the pathogenic factors and lack of technical or personal protection are still the main reasons for the occurrence and emergence of cases of increased exposure. In the case of work with certain hazardous substances, mandatory biological monitoring is often not carried out, although early detection of cases and appropriate measures by the employer could lead to a reduction or elimination of exposure. Our work has investigated the health effects of workers exposed to chemical agents and the options for removing workers exposed to these agents from hazardous work environments. Our aim is to investigate the health effects of chemical agents on humans and the possibilities of their induction in order to reduce or provide optimal conditions for safe and healthy working.
