Recent experimental results show that, by introducing cyclic hydrocarbon molecules inside carbon nanotubes, they can be transformed into nanoribbons or inner tubes, depending on the experimental conditions. In this paper, we present our results obtained as a continuation of our previous molecular dynamics simulation work. In our previous work, the initial geometry consisted of independent carbon atoms. Now, as an initial condition, we have placed different molecules inside a carbon nanotube (18,0): C5H5 (fragment of ferrocene), C5, C5+H2; C6H6 (benzene), C6, C6+H2; C20H12 (perylene); and C24H12 (coronene). The simulations were performed using the REBO-II potential of the LAMMPS software package, supplemented with a Lennard-Jones potential between the nanotube wall atoms and the inner atoms. The simulation proved difficult due to the slow dynamics of the H abstraction. However, with a slight modification of the parameterization, it was possible to model the formation of carbon nanoribbons inside the carbon nanotube.}, year = {2024}, eissn = {2079-4991}, orcid-numbers = {Koltai, János/0000-0003-2576-9740; Kürti, Jenő/0000-0001-9752-2769} } @article{MTMT:34777528, title = {New Salicylanilide Derivatives and Their Peptide Conjugates as Anticancer Compounds: Synthesis, Characterization, and In Vitro Effect on Glioblastoma}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/34777528}, author = {Horváth, Lilla and Biri-Kovács, Beáta and Baranyai, Zsuzsa and Stipsicz, Bence András and Méhes, Előd and Jezsó, Bálint and Krátký, Martin and Vinšová, Jarmila and Bősze, Szilvia}, doi = {10.1021/acsomega.3c05727}, journal-iso = {ACS OMEGA}, journal = {ACS OMEGA}, volume = {9}, unique-id = {34777528}, issn = {2470-1343}, year = {2024}, eissn = {2470-1343}, pages = {16927-16948}, orcid-numbers = {Biri-Kovács, Beáta/0000-0001-5803-9969; Méhes, Előd/0000-0003-2697-907X; Jezsó, Bálint/0000-0002-1306-4797} } @article{MTMT:34761073, title = {Polarized light pollution of fixed-tilt photovoltaic solar panels measured by drone-polarimetry and its visual-ecological importance.}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/34761073}, author = {Takács, Péter and Száz, Dénes and Bernáth, Balázs and István, Pomozi and Horváth, Gábor}, journal-iso = {REMOTE SENS-BASEL}, journal = {REMOTE SENSING}, volume = {16}, unique-id = {34761073}, year = {2024}, eissn = {2072-4292}, pages = {article 1177 + 17 pages electronic supplement}, orcid-numbers = {Száz, Dénes/0000-0002-9087-0928; Horváth, Gábor/0000-0002-9008-2411} } @article{MTMT:34758328, title = {Anomalous diffusion analysis of semantic evolution in major Indo-European languages}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/34758328}, author = {Asztalos, Bogdán and Palla, Gergely and Czégel, Dániel}, doi = {10.1371/journal.pone.0298650}, journal-iso = {PLOS ONE}, journal = {PLOS ONE}, volume = {19}, unique-id = {34758328}, issn = {1932-6203}, abstract = {How do words change their meaning? Although semantic evolution is driven by a variety of distinct factors, including linguistic, societal, and technological ones, we find that there is one law that holds universally across five major Indo-European languages: that semantic evolution is subdiffusive. Using an automated pipeline of diachronic distributional semantic embedding that controls for underlying symmetries, we show that words follow stochastic trajectories in meaning space with an anomalous diffusion exponent α = 0.45 ± 0.05 across languages, in contrast with diffusing particles that follow α = 1. Randomization methods indicate that preserving temporal correlations in semantic change directions is necessary to recover strongly subdiffusive behavior; however, correlations in change sizes play an important role too. We furthermore show that strong subdiffusion is a robust phenomenon under a wide variety of choices in data analysis and interpretation, such as the choice of fitting an ensemble average of displacements or averaging best-fit exponents of individual word trajectories.}, year = {2024}, eissn = {1932-6203}, orcid-numbers = {Asztalos, Bogdán/0000-0002-1085-1939; Palla, Gergely/0000-0002-3406-4200} } @article{MTMT:34738293, title = {A pineális régió tumorainak idegsebészeti ellátása – irodalmi áttekintés és az OMIII beteganyagának vizsgálata}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/34738293}, author = {Mezei, Tamás and Báskay, J and Pollner, Péter and Kovács, V and Markia, B and Nagy, Gábor and Bajcsay, András and Sipos, László}, journal-iso = {MAGYAR ONKOLÓGIA}, journal = {MAGYAR ONKOLÓGIA}, volume = {68}, unique-id = {34738293}, issn = {0025-0244}, year = {2024}, eissn = {2060-0399}, pages = {27-35}, orcid-numbers = {Mezei, Tamás/0000-0002-0848-1182; Pollner, Péter/0000-0003-0464-4893; Nagy, Gábor/0000-0001-8831-3340; Sipos, László/0000-0002-9543-3014} } @article{MTMT:34732165, title = {Csillagászati mérőkampány Namíbiában. 1. rész: Polarizációs porholdvadászat.}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/34732165}, author = {Horváth, Gábor and Slíz, Judit and Mádai, Attila and Sári, Pál and Mitró, Ilona}, journal-iso = {TERMÉSZET VILÁGA}, journal = {TERMÉSZET VILÁGA}, volume = {155 (3)}, unique-id = {34732165}, issn = {0040-3717}, year = {2024}, pages = {98-103 + borító belső}, orcid-numbers = {Horváth, Gábor/0000-0002-9008-2411} } @article{MTMT:34715042, title = {Surface magnon spectra of nodal loop semimetals}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/34715042}, author = {Al-Assaf, Assem Mustafa Abd-Alrhman and Koltai, János and Oroszlány, László}, doi = {10.1103/PhysRevB.109.035161}, journal-iso = {PHYS REV B}, journal = {PHYSICAL REVIEW B}, volume = {109}, unique-id = {34715042}, issn = {2469-9950}, year = {2024}, eissn = {2469-9969}, orcid-numbers = {Koltai, János/0000-0003-2576-9740; Oroszlány, László/0000-0001-5682-6424} } @article{MTMT:34629039, title = {scaRNA20 promotes pseudouridylatory modification of small nuclear snRNA U12 and improves cardiomyogenesis}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/34629039}, author = {Perales, Selene and Sigamani, Vinoth and Rajasingh, Sheeja and Gurusamy, Narasimman and Bittel, Douglas and Czirók, András and Radic, Marko and Rajasingh, Johnson}, doi = {10.1016/j.yexcr.2024.113961}, journal-iso = {EXP CELL RES}, journal = {EXPERIMENTAL CELL RESEARCH}, volume = {436}, unique-id = {34629039}, issn = {0014-4827}, year = {2024}, eissn = {1090-2422}, orcid-numbers = {Sigamani, Vinoth/0000-0002-7545-3907; Gurusamy, Narasimman/0000-0001-5579-1354; Bittel, Douglas/0000-0002-1033-7139; Czirók, András/0000-0002-2694-5163; Rajasingh, Johnson/0000-0002-6172-4083} } @article{MTMT:34596805, title = {Are Artificial Intelligence-Assisted Three-Dimensional Histological Reconstructions Reliable for the Assessment of Trabecular Microarchitecture?}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/34596805}, author = {Báskay, János and Pénzes, Dorottya and Kontsek, Endre and Pesti, Adrián István and Kiss, András and Carvalho, Bruna Katherine Guimarães and Szócska, Miklós and Szabó, Bence Tamás and Dobó-Nagy, Csaba and Csete, Dániel and Mócsai, Attila and Németh, Orsolya and Pollner, Péter and Mijiritsky, Eitan and Kivovics, Márton}, doi = {10.3390/jcm13041106}, journal-iso = {J CLIN MED}, journal = {JOURNAL OF CLINICAL MEDICINE}, volume = {13}, unique-id = {34596805}, abstract = {This study aimed to create a three-dimensional histological reconstruction through the AI-assisted classification of tissues and the alignment of serial sections. The secondary aim was to evaluate if the novel technique for histological reconstruction accurately replicated the trabecular microarchitecture of bone. This was performed by conducting micromorphometric measurements on the reconstruction and comparing the results obtained with those of microCT reconstructions. A bone biopsy sample was harvested upon re-entry following sinus floor augmentation. Following microCT scanning and histological processing, a modified version of the U-Net architecture was trained to categorize tissues on the sections. Detector-free local feature matching with transformers was used to create the histological reconstruction. The micromorphometric parameters were calculated using Bruker’s CTAn software (version 1.18.8.0, Bruker, Kontich, Belgium) for both histological and microCT datasets. Correlation coefficients calculated between the micromorphometric parameters measured on the microCT and histological reconstruction suggest a strong linear relationship between the two with ⍴-values of 0.777, 0.717, 0.705, 0.666, and 0.687 for BV/TV, BS/TV, Tb.Pf Tb.Th, and Tb.Sp, respectively. Bland–Altman and mountain plots suggest good agreement between BV/TV measurements on the two reconstruction methods.
