In the case of plasma-assisted combustion (PAC), a range of combustion properties are significantly affected by the introduced and absorbed microwave power. MIPs are well-studied in the case of mono-component gases, but less knowledge is available regarding the effect of introduced microwave power on multicomponent gases, like in the case of combustion. Previous research has primarily relied on the effect of introduced microwave power on the flammability limits and the flame speed enhancement during fuel-lean conditions, but less knowledge is available on the effect of introduced microwave power on the flue gas components. Here, we report a quantitative analysis of dry flue gas of premixed methane (CH4)-air flame coupled with 2.45-GHz microwave power using a self-designed mono-mode plasma cavity. A rapid increase in NOx concentration in the flue gas was found by the formation of plasma. The carbon dioxide concentration in the dry flue gas is found to decrease with the applied microwave power to the premixed CH4-air flame, while the oxygen concentration increases, which can be originated from the flame temperature increase. This is also supported by the rotational temperature calculations of OH radicals, which are based on the flame's spectral emissivity measurements. Cigarette waste, which is typically discarded as a non-recyclable material, poses a significant environmental challenge due to its toxicity and slow decomposition rate. However, by incorporating this waste into ceramic bricks, new approaches for waste management and resource utilization are explored. This research work provides a detailed evaluation of the possibility of utilizing natural zeolite tuff incorporated with cigarette waste to produce sustainable ceramic bricks. Uniform powders are produced by milling various combinations of zeolitic tuff and cigarette waste using a planetary ball mill. The substitution ratios ranged from 0% to 12% by weight of the zeolitic tuff, with increments of 2%. Ceramic discs were formed by dry pressing and then subjected to sintering at different heat treatment temperatures (950–1250 °C). The impact of the inclusion of cigarette waste on the microstructural and technical features of zeolite tuff-based ceramic bricks has been thoroughly investigated. The results of the experiments demonstrate that incorporating cigarette waste into the development of ceramic bricks leads to improved thermal insulation properties, with thermal conductivity ranging from 0.33 to 0.93 W/m·K. Additionally, these bricks exhibit a lighter weight in a range of 1.45 to 1.96 g/cm3. Although the inclusion of cigarette waste slightly reduces the compressive strength, with values ranging from 6.96 to 58.6 MPa, it still falls within the acceptable range specified by standards. The inclusion of cigarette waste into zeolite tuff is an innovative approach and sustainable practice for reducing energy consumption in buildings while simultaneously addressing the issue of waste disposal and pollution mitigation. These hot carriers possess sufficient energy to inject into the conduction band of a semiconductor material. The groundbreaking use of iridium (Ir) ultrathin film as an ultraviolet (UV) plasmonic material on silicon (Si) for high‐performance photodetectors (PHDs) has been successfully demonstrated. Elevating the thickness of the sputtered Ir film to 4 nm yields a notable surge in photocurrent, registering an impressive 600 μA under 365 nm UV illumination with electron mobility of 1.37E3 cm 2 V −1 s. This PHD exhibits excellent OFF‐ON photoresponses at various applied voltages ranging from 0 to 5 V, maintaining a stable photocurrent. Under UV illumination, it displays exceptional performance, achieving a high detectivity of 1.25E14 Jones and a responsivity of 1.28 A W −1 . These outstanding results underscore the significant advantages of increasing the thickness of the Ir film in PHDs, leading to improvements in conductivity, detectivity, external quantum efficiency, responsivity, as well as superior sensitivity for light detection. Jászberény határából egy aranyozott ezüstből készült 10. századi süvegcsúcs került be a Jász Múzeum gyűjteményébe, feltehetően Jászberény-Alsómuszály, homokbánya lelőhelyről. 2018-ban a hitelesítő ásatás mellett kutatócsoport jött létre a süvegcsúcs archeometriai vizsgálatára, illetve a beregszászi lelettel való részletes összehasonlításra, melyben a Miskolci Egyetem munkatársai is részt vettek.
