The study's objective is to fathom how cryptocurrencies influence the tourism sector, how legal standar dsbear on transactions involving cryptocurrencies within the tourism industry, and to what extent they render the adoption ofcryptocurrencies in tourism feasible. The principal aim is to unravel the interconnection between the employment ofcryptocurrencies in tourist services and its concurrent legal governance in four handpicked countries: Spain, France, Croatia, the Netherlands The investigation encompasses, on the one hand, the exploration of legal case studies and, on the other, theevaluation of hypotheses using clustering neural networks to dissect the interrelation between cryptocurrencies and tourism.Clustering was achieved through SOM and PCA methodologies, which, in unison, proffer profound insights into the data'sarchitecture and interconnectedness. The data was collected by scraping with an API key, allowing us to examine allcryptocurrency acceptance points by category in each country. During this process, we employed a big data setup. Theresearch underscores that blockchain technologies, including but not limited to Ethereum's advancements that extend beyondjust Bitcoin, are steadily gaining a more influential role in tourism. Furthermore, legal guidelines, especially within the E U,have a significant influence on transactions and operations associated with these digital assets. This becomes paramount as, inthe scrutinised region, the count of cryptocurrency and blockchain acceptance venues correlates with the vigour of tourism.Blockchain technologies, which transcend just the realm of Bitcoin and encompass advances like Ethereum, are progressivelyplaying a pivotal role in tourism sector. Legal regulations emerge as a cardinal determinant in the governance of blockchainand cryptocurrency-related transactions and operations. The interplay between tourism and these technologies calls for furtherinvestigation, especially against the backdrop of a mutable legal environment. However, a conclusion can be drawn regardingits multiplicative impact on the economic pulse of the tourism sector.}, year = {2025}, eissn = {2065-0817}, pages = {422-432}, orcid-numbers = {Kupi, Marcell/0000-0001-6154-9732; Kundi, Viktória/0009-0000-9766-6156; Szabó, Tamás/0009-0007-9426-2712} } @misc{MTMT:36415045, title = {The international open financial space – emerging regulatory deficits and implementation difficulties during the implementation of fintech}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/36415045}, author = {Szabó, Tamás}, unique-id = {36415045}, year = {2025}, orcid-numbers = {Szabó, Tamás/0009-0007-9426-2712} } @inbook{MTMT:36427902, title = {The importance of international technology transfer in addressing fintech difficulties}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/36427902}, author = {Szabó, Tamás}, booktitle = {Technology transfer and investment law 2025}, unique-id = {36427902}, abstract = {The burgeoning landscape of fintech has revolutionized the financial sector, offering unprecedented convenience and efficiency. The studies in the volume comprehensively examine and bring together the aspects and phenomena that place consumer protection in the technology-intensive environment of the 21st century. Each author presents a perspective on the areas discussed, providing an overview of the different institutions, EU or national legislation and practices that characterise consumer protection. This portrayal of consumer protection is novel, innovative and niche. The authors of each study seek to address novel problems and outline possible institutional arrangements by presenting professional arguments for improving the jurisprudence of their subject. While diverse in scope, all the studies in this volume share a common focus on consumer financial protection. The volume progresses from exploring general consumer protection issues to examining the specific aspects of consumer protection related to financial products built on blockchain technology. Drawing upon empirical examples, it delves into the potential of crypto-assets and blockchain technology to address these issues, spotlighting the rapid growth of the FinTech industry as a disruptive force capable of revolutionizing financial accessibility for rural communities. Through a comprehensive literature review and case studies, the study highlights innovative FinTech applications, such as mobile money services, which have significantly contributed to financial inclusion among smallholder farmers, facilitating access to savings, loans, and insurance products. The paper presents two pioneering initiatives from Kenya - the blockchain-based insurance model, Etherisc, and Agri-wallet, a digital wallet solution, demonstrating their effectiveness in mitigating risks associated with agriculture and enabling efficient financial transactions; and a central information-operator from Ghana, the Esoko. Furthermore, it identifies existing barriers to the wider adoption of FinTech solutions, including infrastructural deficits, legal uncertainties surrounding smart contracts, and the limited penetration of internet services, underscoring the imperative for enhanced digital infrastructure and regulatory frameworks to maximize the benefits of digital technologies for sustainable agriculture. The findings suggest that, despite challenges, the integration of FinTech in agriculture presents a promising avenue for boosting productivity, ensuring food security, and fostering economic resilience among rural populations in Africa. The paper calls for concerted efforts by stakeholders to address the digital divide and create enabling environments for the deployment of innovative financial technologies, paving the way for a more inclusive and sustainable agricultural sector.}, year = {2024}, pages = {97-103}, orcid-numbers = {Szabó, Tamás/0009-0007-9426-2712} } @misc{MTMT:35275304, title = {FinTech Solutions Supporting Sustainable Agriculture - Lessons from Africa?}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/35275304}, author = {Szabó, Tamás}, unique-id = {35275304}, year = {2024}, orcid-numbers = {Szabó, Tamás/0009-0007-9426-2712} } @misc{MTMT:35472538, title = {How the EU’s novel legislation affect the international commercial systems?}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/35472538}, author = {Szabó, Tamás}, unique-id = {35472538}, year = {2024}, orcid-numbers = {Szabó, Tamás/0009-0007-9426-2712} } @book{MTMT:35623717, title = {Kiszolgáltatott csoportok a digitális világban.
