We have designed a system for predicting this risk by taking into account various factors such as physical, behavioral, and environmental parameters related to the investigated patient and thus facilitate experts to diagnose the risk of diabetes. The important risk parameters of type 2 diabetes are identified based on the literature and the recommendations of experts. The parameters are scaled and fuzzified on their own universe and, based on the experts’ recommendation, fuzzy inference subsystems are created with 3–4 related risk parameters to calculate the risk level. These sub-systems are then arranged into Mamdani-type inference systems so that the system calculates an aggregated risk level. The overview of the large number of diverse types of risk factors, which may be difficult for specialists and doctors, is facilitated by the proposed system. However, sustainability is increasingly becoming a priority for companies and society. Integrating this into logistics processes is a major challenge. Sustainability in logistics is important not only from an environmental perspective, but also in its economic and social dimensions. Here we should mention the concept of green logistics. The public exploitation of the benefits of green logistics helps companies to attract customers, although in many cases greenwashing can also be encountered. In this paper, we focus on the role of greenwashing. This study explores how QR codes can be integrated into e-commerce systems, with a focus on shipping and logistics processes. The use of QR codes enables accurate tracking of products from order to delivery, thus increasing transparency and reducing the occurrence of errors. Customers can track the status of their orders in real time using QR codes, which improves customer experience and satisfaction. In the area of warehouse management, QR codes provide quick access to inventory data, which significantly increases the efficiency of work processes. In addition, the use of QR codes in inventory identification and management enables the implementation of automatic data entry and inventory updating, which reduces administrative burdens and minimizes the possibility of human error. The study points out that the use of QR codes not only enables the improvement of current systems, but also offers new opportunities for the development of intelligent logistics solutions. Overall, the introduction of QR codes into e-business logistics and order tracking processes is an innovative step that can provide companies with a sustainable competitive advantage in the long term. The proposed methods are based on various techniques, such as predictive control, filters, and machine learning. Results have shown that the artificial pancreas may control blood glucose levels better than conservative insulin administration, while avoiding the risk of hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia. The most commonly used methods for controlling blood glucose levels are giving good results, while methods based on machine learning algorithms also offer promising performance. Nevertheless, there are numerous challenges in designing algorithms for the artificial pancreas, which need to be considered. The aim of this research is to provide an overview of the latest achievements in this research field, find the best solutions and, ultimately, improve them in the future.
