Jordan is considered one of the main host countries for refugees in the middle east, various types of post-disaster settlements were founded during the past decades as a solution for accommodating refugees who sought asylum, and some of these settlements morphed into informal settlements within the city context The research paper aims to assess and optimise post-disaster settlement layouts' connectivity; through analysing the built environment layout of several post-disaster settlements. The research examines dominant mobility patterns and assesses connectivity, walkability, and commensurate access to common facilities within settlement boundaries. The selected case studies demonstrate two different types of post-disaster group settlements in Jordan. The case studies' street networks will be assessed using the routegram and space syntax. Accordingly, the paper suggests ameliorating the cases' route patterns, route depths, and junctions to optimise equal accessibility to all common facilities by the larger part of users.}, year = {2022}, pages = {paper 16} } @{MTMT:33238973, title = {Optimisation of Water Taps Accessibility by Improving Locations of Water Sources in Refugee Camp Community Units}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/33238973}, author = {Maiteh, Shaha and Ben Khadra, Lujain and Zoltán, Erzsébet Szeréna and Pál-Schreiner, Judit and Gyergyák, János}, booktitle = {Abstract book for the18th MIKLÓS IVÁNYI INTERNATIONAL PHD & DLA SYMPOSIUM}, unique-id = {33238973}, year = {2022}, pages = {paper 37} } @book{MTMT:33698374, title = {Optimisation of water taps accessibility by improving locations of water sources in refugee camps community units}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/33698374}, author = {Maiteh, Shaha and Lujain, Ben Khadra and Dr. Erzsébet, Szeréna Zoltán and Dr. Judit, Pál-Schreiner and Dr. János, Gyergyák}, publisher = {Pollack Press}, unique-id = {33698374}, year = {2022} } @{MTMT:32470232, title = {Unconventional Housing Solutions Introducing Co-Living for the Displaced Population}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/32470232}, author = {Maiteh, Shaha and Zhao, Tianyu and Borsos, Ágnes and Zoltán, Erzsébet Szeréna and Gyergyák, János and Lu, Chang}, booktitle = {Abstract book for the 17th MIKLÓS IVÁNYI INTERNATIONAL PHD & DLA SYMPOSIUM}, unique-id = {32470232}, year = {2021}, pages = {p.2}, orcid-numbers = {Borsos, Ágnes/0000-0001-9155-2203} } @{MTMT:32473960, title = {Carbon-Neutral District Planning in Central-EuropeanTowhnship Context}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/32473960}, author = {Tőke, Máté and Maiteh, Shaha and Zhao, Tianyu and Varjú, Kata and Gyergyák, János and Paári, Péter and E., Molnár and Lu, Chang}, booktitle = {Abstract book for the 17th MIKLÓS IVÁNYI INTERNATIONAL PHD & DLA SYMPOSIUM}, unique-id = {32473960}, year = {2021}, pages = {p.29.}, orcid-numbers = {Paári, Péter/0000-0002-8811-4357} } @{MTMT:32473963, title = {Open Public Space Design Principles as a Tool toCarbon Neutral Cities}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/32473963}, author = {Zhao, Tianyu and Maiteh, Shaha and Tőke, Máté and Varjú, Kata and Gyergyák, János and Paári, Péter and Lu, Chang}, booktitle = {Abstract book for the 17th MIKLÓS IVÁNYI INTERNATIONAL PHD & DLA SYMPOSIUM}, unique-id = {32473963}, year = {2021}, pages = {p.30.}, orcid-numbers = {Paári, Péter/0000-0002-8811-4357} } @{MTMT:32474273, title = {Towards More Responsible Architecture.
