	abstract = {A városi terek átalakulása a kreatív gazdaság értékteremtő szerepének felértékelődéséhez vezetett, amely többek között a kreatív munkavégzés új formáiban jelent meg. Az elmúlt másfél évtized a közösségi munkavégzés modelljének rohamos terjedését és számos formájának kialakulását eredményezte. A kreatív terek erősen kötődnek a globalizáció rendszereihez, ám egyben a lokális terekhez is szorosan kapcsolódnak, a glokalizáció sajátos formáját képviselik. Ugyanakkor a kreatív gazdaságot erős centrum-periféria megosztottság jellemzi, és bár formái a földrajzi és gazdasági perifériákon is megjelentek, ezekben a terekben léptékbeli, hálózatokhoz kötődő és intézményi hátráltató tényezők nyomják rá bélyegüket a fejlődésre. A sikeres kulturális ökoszisztémák felépítése jelentős nehézségekbe ütközik, amely a városfejlesztési politikák elé is akadályokat gördít.
		Ehhez kapcsolódva a tanulmányban Pécs, egy periférikus helyzetű nagyváros, ezen belül a közösségi munkavégzési terek (coworking központok) példáján keresztül elemezzük a periférikus kreatív gazdaságok formálódását és sajátos kihívásait. A nemzetközi és hazai szakirodalom tükrében a megosztáson alapuló gazdaság keretein belül vizsgáltuk a coworking jelenségét és annak térbeli hatásait, különös tekintettel a térségi perifériákra, majd három fázisban, a pécsi kreatív miliő felmérése és szakértői interjúk felhasználásával empirikus kutatást végeztünk.
		
		A hazai vidéki nagyvárosok között Pécs a kreatív városfejlesztési stratégiák és a coworking mozgalom bölcsője, ugyanakkor ez a fejlődési pálya számos nehézséggel küzd, a város kreatív értékeinek termékesítése elmarad a várakozásoktól. Kutatásunk eredményei azt mutatják, hogy a városban a coworking központok sokszínű ökoszisztémája jött létre. Működésükben a nemzetközi mintákhoz hasonlóan meghatározó a belváros kulturális vonzereje és az egyetem szerepe; a pandémia utáni években pedig új bővülési hullám jeleit és a digitális nomádok újkeletű megjelenését láthatjuk. Ugyanakkor, bár ezek a központok katalizátorszerepet játszanak a kreatív gazdaság fejlődésében, még nem került sor érdemi klaszteresedésre, a tudásmegosztáson és kollektív tanuláson alapuló előnyök megjelenésére és a közösségi reziliencia kialakulására. Alacsony a tradeable kreatív termékek jelenléte, a szektort pedig számottevő fenntarthatósági problémák – bizonytalan üzleti modellek és a külső forrásoktól való függőség – jellemzik. A centrum–periféria viszonyok erős érvényesülése tehát a coworking, és a szélesebben értelmezett kreatív gazdaság lassú fejlődését vetíti előre Pécs városában.},

	abstract = {Coworking spaces and the creative industries represent a rapidly growing but highly diverse shared economy sector. The paper outlines the types of incremental or radical forms of change developed that lead to industrial–institutional coevolution based on evidence from selected cities in Central and Eastern Europe. The results suggest that CS in peripheral areas are contributing primarily to the path upgrading through local embeddedness of stakeholders. These spaces contribute to refocusing local creative ecosystems by enhancing competitiveness of microclusters. Results suggest that CS in peripheral areas are contributing primarily to the path upgrading through local embeddedness of stakeholders through remote workers and digital nomads These cases underline replicative entrepreneurship, where local stakeholders gather momentum for a subsequent period characterised by new internal structures and services in the urban setting. 	abstract = {Despite the efforts of the EU, disparities remain in terms of the participation of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) researchers from both Southern and Central & Eastern Europe in research collaborations, as compared to Northern and Western European scholars. To better understand these disparities, the EU Horizon Europe SSH CENTRE project ran a Call for Evidence over December 2022 to March 2023. Specifically, respondents were asked about the challenges they faced in conducting SSH research on climate, energy and/or mobility, as well as the ways in which these challenges could be addressed. The Call’s online survey was focused on maximising diversity, and it gathered views and experiences of 137 Southern and Central & Eastern European SSH researchers. The sample was balanced across genders (71 men, 66 women) and the three main themes (82 energy, 88 climate, 53 mobility), and included at least one respondent from each of the 27 target countries. The highest numbers of respondents were from Hungary (19) and Spain (21).},

	abstract = {A global pandemic affected the type and place of work in several ways. For coworking places it caused disruptions according to direct (e.g. measures) and indirect (e.g. urban outmigration) reasons. The present chapter focuses on how coworking places in Hungary choose different adaptation strategies to deal with the unprecedented challenge that COVID-19 accounted for. It gives insight into the Hungarian pandemic situation between 2020 and 2022, identifying restrictions and no state financial aid whatsoever which determined the playing field for coworking places. The chapter contains different sections related to the outbreak and the Hungarian coworking landscape as well as coping strategies these alternative workspaces relied on to survive the first two years of the pandemic: location change, size reduction, change of function, and relying on informal networks are the identified ones.},
