It is required for the automotive industry to further evolve the travel experience and safety, as well as to reduce the environmental impact of vehicles. The chapter reviewed various V2X technologies. Two of the key challenges are interoperability and compatibility. The competing access technologies, i.e. WLAN-based and cellular -based communication, are very different in their whole philosophy. Therefore, it is assumed that both technologies will coexist and spread on their own. There will be no consensus that will favour one over the other. This also means that the communication devices have to support both main access technologies resulting in multi -stack equipment. Of course, this has fmancial consequences as well. To complete this thought, it should be noted that WLAN-based V2X communication has geographical restrictions as well. However, this stands for a vehicle itself and its features as well, thus this issue is less significant. The standard allows vehicles to communicate with the charging station using the power cable, i.e. a wired link, but it is improved to enable wireless (WLAN) links as well. This paper aims to provide an implementation accomplishes a wireless authentication solution (WAS). With that the electric vehicles can establish V2G connection when approaching the charging pool, then identify and authenticate the driver and/or the vehicle. Furthermore, the paper presents a TTCN-3 based validation and verification (V&V) framework in order to test the conformance of the prototype implementation against the standard. However, due to the lack of coordination and cooperation finding and using public charging stations or inter-roaming charging is challenging. These issues are huge limitations of the electromobility. The objective of NeMo Hyper-Network is to overcome these drawbacks by providing a pan-European seamless interoperability of e-mobility services. The paper introduces the main motivations and goals of NeMo Hyper-Network. Furthermore, the potential business scenarios identified in NeMo are presented. In this letter, we first formulate the prime issue, i.e., energy harvesting (EV) for 5G wireless networks, in which spectrum and energy resources are efficiently received and resourcefully managed. Thereafter, we introduce a medium access control (MAC) scheme for dual tier 5G networks; it also invokes the simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) technique with other data transmission schemes, i.e., cooperative transmission (CT) scheme and non-cooperative transmission (NCT) scheme with EV abilities. Illustrative results demonstrate significant improvement in aggregated throughput and EE. With the indoor unit extension the access network becomes heterogeneous (HetNet). HetNet is a straightforward way to provide quality of service (QoS) in terms better network coverage and high data rate. Although, due to uncoordinated, densely deployed small cells large interference may occur, particularly in case of operating small cells within the spectrum of macro base stations (MBS). This paper probes the impact of small cell on the outage probability and the average network throughput enhancement. The positions of the small cells are retained random and modelled with homogeneous Poisson Point Process (PPP) and Matérn Cluster process (MCP). The paper provides an analytic form which permits to compute the outage probability, including the mostly applied fast fading channel types. Furthermore, simulations are evaluated in order to calculate the average network throughput for both random processes. Simulation results highlights that the network throughput remarkably grows due to small cell deployment. The addition of these base stations extends the offered system capacity and coverage area of the network. This two network parameters nowadays becomes rather important to provide Quality of Service (QoS) for data-hungry applications. Femto base stations (FBS) are deployed randomly to extend the coverage of conventional base stations. Since the femtocells are operating here in open access mode, so that the handover probability parameter becomes important concern. In this article, we declare the handover probability using the fundamentals of stochastic geometry. LA - English DB - MTMT ER -
