AB  - The proposed architecture of the Hungarian e-
Government Framework, mandating the functional cooperation
of independent organizations, puts special emphasis
on interoperability. WS-* standards have been created to
reach uniformity and interoperability in the common
middleware tasks for web services such as security, reliable
messaging and transactions. These standards, however, while
existing for some time, have implementations slightly different
in quality. In order to assess implementations, thorough tests
should be performed, and relevant test cases ought to be
accepted. For selecting mature SOA products for e-
Government application, a methodology of such an assessment
is needed. We have defined a flexible and extensible test bed
and a set of test cases for SOA products considering three
aspects: compliance with standards, interoperability and
development support.

AB  - Both enterprise and government information systems employ
SOA technology for easy, standardized, and flexible
subsystem-integration. In such systems, the state of processes
might have to be migrated from one engine to the
other, from one process version to the next. Having processes
with long runtime, direct restart is not an option,
while direct state-transfermight be unfeasible and insecure.
Authors have introduced a framework, called the BPEL
Movie Framework, that applies a vertical approach to this
problem. In this approach a new process is started directly
from its beginning, and all communication is played back
to it by the framework from the communication logs of the
original process, thus yielding the latest state of the original
process. This paper introduces the details of the problem,
the algorithm used in the framework, and the necessary
process- and message-level modifications and transformations.
An evaluation of the solution is also given, which
clearly defines the applicability and restrictions, and also
introduces the test results.

AB  - The Hungarian e-Government Framework - ensuring the
functional co-operation of independent organizations in
order to deliver public services - is based on a serviceoriented
architecture (SOA) and an e-Government Service
Bus for the implementation of the integrated back-office
services. Managing and monitoring of such a
heterogeneous system, containg a lot of legacy
governmental registers, is a difficult task, due to the lack
of the common or interoperable infrastructure. Authors
tested and evaluated Business Activity Monitoring
(BAM) tools and platforms in their Framework. They
have chosen the IBM WebSphere Business Monitor (IBM
WBM) as a global platform, elaborated an extensible
cross-platform event management layer and introduced a
common event model. After explaining the main goal of
their innovations, the paper gives a short overview of an
experimental implementation of their heterogeneous
business monitoring solution in an e-governmental
environment.
