Surrogate modelling techniques were involved to efficiently calculate the Sobol’ indices as a measure of uncertainty quantification (UQ). This approach helps to appraise the contributions of different pa-rameters in the lower frequency range, where the well-stirred con-dition cannot be established, yielding a proficient apparatus for the stirrer, the chamber design, and the measurement process. The formulation utilizes the magnetic vector and the electric scalar potentials, and an additional scalar in the conducting regions to make the discretized Galerkin system symmetric. The resulting FE matrix is low-frequency (LF) stable in the frequency domain. As a result, the time-step size is not limited by the characteristics of the system matrix in the backward Euler time-stepping scheme. The system matrixes are also regular, which allows choosing a direct solver to speed up the temporal solution significantly. The formulation is verified in both the frequency and the time domains by solving benchmark problems, and the results are compared to full-wave and eddy-current solutions.}, keywords = {Engineering, Electrical & Electronic; Continuity Gauge; Darwin Approximation; electromagnetic quasistatic (EMQS) formulation; low-frequency (LF) stability}, year = {2023}, eissn = {1941-0069}, orcid-numbers = {Badics, Zsolt/0000-0001-6176-3675; Bilicz, Sándor/0000-0003-4995-6698} } @inproceedings{MTMT:33694222, title = {A Global Sensitivity Analysis Study with More Parameters in Undermoded Reverberation Chambers}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/33694222}, author = {Kenderes, Anett and Gyimóthy, Szabolcs and Benkő, Péter T.}, booktitle = {Proceedings of the 1st Workshop on Intelligent Infocommunication Networks, Systems and Services (WI2NS2)}, doi = {10.3311/WINS2023-008}, unique-id = {33694222}, abstract = {An improved global sensitivity analysis (SA) study by means of Sobol’ indices was performed in this work to investigate the influence of measurement uncertainties on an adequately chosen quantity, which describes the field distribution in the stochastic environment of reverberation chambers (RC). Certain litz wires are fabricated by simply twisting the bundle of strands, hence a wire pitch is realized. In this paper, the ac resistance of coils made of such twisted litz wire are calculated by combining two-dimensional finite element simulation and circuit laws.
