	abstract = {A SaveGreen projekt célja a TransGreen és a ConnectGreen INTERREG projektek folytatásaként alapvetően a táj fragmentációjának, az ökológiai folyosók feldarabolódásának csökkentése. A tájfragmentációt elsődlegesen az infrastruktúra rendszerek, a beépített területek okozzák, de a tájhasználathoz kapcsolódó valamennyi ágazat hozzájárul a táj ökológiai értékének csökkentéséhez. A táj egy hihetetlenül komplex egység, amely teret ad társadalmunk működéséhez szükséges infrastrukturális és egyéb rendszereknek, de egyben a természetes élővilág életfeltételeit is biztosítja. A mesterséges rendszerek feldarabolják a természetes ökoszisztémákat, megszakítják azokat az ökológiai folyosókat, amelyek az élővilág vándorlását biztosítják. Gazdag irodalom áll rendelkezésre az infrastruktúra negatív hatásainak elemzésével kapcsolatban, azonban tanulmányunkban igyekszünk kitágítani a kereteket és több szakterületet is számba veszünk, elemzünk az ökológiai hálózat szempontjából.},

	abstract = {The socialist era postponed suburbanisation in Central and Eastern European countries. After 1990, the process became extremely intensive and transformed the compact form of cities into more decentralised and dispersed urban structures. Therefore, the study aims to identify the main trends in land-cover transformation caused by urban sprawl in peri-urban areas of three Central and Eastern European cities (NUTS 3 level: the Pest County, Bratislava Region, and Krakowski subregion). In addition, we identified various policy tools for green infrastructure protection. We further investigated the extent to which the presence of legal means of nature conservation affects the stability of natural and seminatural areas. The research used an original questionnaire and spatio-temporal analysis. It has been confirmed that after decades of socialism, a highly intensive urban sprawl process started in the analysed regions. It generally slowed down after 2000 except for the Krakowski subregion. The majority of new artificial areas replaced agricultural land. Despite the dynamic urban sprawl, almost one-third of the analysed Central and Eastern European peri-urban areas were stable natural and seminatural areas. The traditional nature conservation tools proved to be effective in preserving natural and seminatural areas, but the protection of landscapes exposed to urban sprawl needs specific tools. The effectiveness of urban sprawl control is hindered by the fact that spatial planning competences are dispersed. This research may influence monitoring urban sprawl and offer an innovative method because it combines spatial analysis (quantitative approach) with the impact of policy tools (qualitative approach).},

	abstract = {We have carried out two studies in the Uppony area, in 2020 and 2022, as part of degree course in the Master of Landscape Architecture programme. We have found that, as in other areas in economic and social decline, the potential for tourism development based on a rich natural and cultural heritage is seen as a key to the survival of the area for local entrepreneurs and residents.
		Our research has shown that the development of tourism is conditional on the development of other areas, and is therefore inseparable from, for example, infrastructure and human resource development. And the efforts of small villages on their own can be more fruitful if they work together. Therefore, tourism planning cannot be separated from the simultaneous assessment and development of other sectors, which highlights the need for a multisectoral approach and landscape thinking in the development of tourism development proposals.},

	abstract = {The SaveGREEN INTERREG project aims to help conserve or improve ecological corridors through integrated planning and to raise awareness of the different types of appropriate mitigation measures. In connection with the SaveGREEN project and in the framework of the university educational program of landscape architecture students, we prepared a complex landscape assessment and landscape development plan for the planned M2 border area. The SaveGREEN project builds on the results of the TRANSGREEN, ConnectGREEN and HARMON DTP projects. The project focuses on the study areas of the partner countries: the Alpine-Carpathian corridor, the South-Western Carpathians, the Zakarpattya, Beskid, Lyulin and Balkan Mountains and the critical ecological corridors of the planned M2 area in Hungary, which are most affected by transport infrastructure and unsustainable land use. In our study, we present a complex assessment of the Hungarian study area, with a special focus on the assessment of ecological corridors crossing the route of the planned M2 motorway.},

Az egykor virágzó bányász települések jelenleg többnyire az általános hanyatlás jelenségeivel néznek szembe. A gazdag táji örökség és a kiemelt turisztikai desztinációk közelsége a turizmus fejlesztésének és egyben a települések hosszútávú fennmaradásának lehetőségének reményét kelti a térség számára. Vizsgálataink alapján megállapítottuk, hogy a turizmus önmagában nem képes pozitív fejlődési pályára állítani a térséget, és fejlesztése elválaszthatatlan más területek, például az infrastruktúra- vagy a humán erőforrás fejlesztésektől. A turisztikai tervezés összefonódik a többi szektor vizsgálatával és fejlesztéseivel, ami egyértelműen megmutatja a tájban való gondolkodás és a multiszektorális szemlélet érvényesítésének szükségességét a szakági fejlesztések kidolgozásában.},
