Our objective was to assess the status of soil in an 18-year-old tillage experiment after almost two decades of systematic tillage. In this research, soil physical (bulk density, moisture content), chemical (pH, SOC), and biological properties (soil microbial respiration, abundance, biomass, species composition of earthworms, yield) were used as indicators in three soil cultivation methods representing different degrees of disturbance (no-till—NT; shallow cultivation—SC; and ploughing—P). Based on our results, there were significant differences in bulk density (NT > SC, P) in 0–10 cm, and NT > P in deeper layers (10–20, 20–30, 30–40 cm), while the SOC content in 0–10 cm was the highest in NT (2.5%), followed by SC (2.4%) and P (2.0%). Soil microbial respiration was significantly greater in NT than in SC and P. The abundance and biomass of earthworms was the highest in NT (189 ind m−2, 41.26 g m−2), followed by SC (125 ind m−2, 36.9 g m−2) and P (48 ind m−2, 7.4 g m−2). We concluded that NT offered a beneficial habitat for earthworms and microorganisms and a high SOC storage capacity; however, bulk density was less convenient due to soil compaction in our experiment. Therefore, SC can be used as an alternative approach for sustainable soil tillage.}, year = {2024}, eissn = {2073-4395}, orcid-numbers = {Birkás, Márta/0000-0001-5489-0166; Simon, Barbara/0000-0002-1343-8154} } @article{MTMT:33535315, title = {Városi csapadékvízgyűjtő tározó méretének vizsgálata az 1901-2020 időszak napi meteorológiai adatai alapján}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/33535315}, author = {Rácz, Tibor Ferenc and Waltner, István and Gelybó, Györgyi}, doi = {10.33038/jcegi.3553}, journal-iso = {J CENT EUR GREEN INNOV}, journal = {JOURNAL OF CENTRAL EUROPEAN GREEN INNOVATION}, volume = {10}, unique-id = {33535315}, abstract = {A tanulmány az épületek tetővizeinek gyűjtésére szolgáló csapadékvíz tározók vizsgálatát mutatja be, egy a magyarországi viszonyok között jellemző tetőmérettel és egy lehetséges vízhasználattal. A nagyobb tározó kialakítása általában jobb mutatókat eredményez, de felvethető, hogy egy háztartás esetében a beruházási költségek megtérülése miképp alakul, ez további vizsgálatok tárgya kell legyen.}, keywords = {climate change; meteorology; scenario; klímaváltozás; Szcenárió; meteorológia; csapadéktározás; csapadékvíz hasznosítás; rainwater storage; rainwater utilization}, year = {2022}, eissn = {2064-3004}, pages = {38-58}, orcid-numbers = {Rácz, Tibor Ferenc/0000-0002-0386-2525} } @article{MTMT:33201889, title = {SpatialAquaCrop, an R Package for Raster-Based Implementation of the AquaCrop Model}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/33201889}, author = {Deganutti de Barros, Vinicius and Waltner, István and Minoarimanana, Rakotoarivony A. and Halupka, Gábor and Sándor, Renáta and Kaldybayeva, Dana and Gelybó, Györgyi}, doi = {10.3390/plants11212907}, journal-iso = {PLANTS-BASEL}, journal = {PLANTS-BASEL}, volume = {11}, unique-id = {33201889}, abstract = {Modeling crop water use and soil moisture availability is becoming increasingly critical, particularly in light of recent drought events. Our study focuses on the spatial application of the AquaCrop model, using a raster-based approach in an R-based environment. The formulated methodology was initially applied and tested on two point-based examples in the Central region of Hungary, followed by the spatial application of the model at the Rákos Stream catchment in the same region. For evaluation purposes, we also utilized satellite-based NDVI data. The results showed that there is a strong correlation between NDVI values and the model-based biomass estimation. We also found that the model simulated the soil moisture content fairly well, with a correlation coefficient of 0.82. While our results support the validity of the applied methodology, it is also clear that input data availability and quality are still critical issues in spatial application of the AquaCrop model.}, year = {2022}, eissn = {2223-7747}, orcid-numbers = {Waltner, István/0000-0002-6704-8936} } @article{MTMT:32760117, title = {Climate Change Alters Soil Water Dynamics under Different Land Use Types}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/32760117}, author = {Horel, Ágota and Zsigmond, Tibor and Farkas, Csilla and Gelybó, Györgyi and Tóth, Eszter and Kern, Anikó and Bakacsi, Zsófia}, doi = {10.3390/su14073908}, journal-iso = {SUSTAINABILITY-BASEL}, journal = {SUSTAINABILITY}, volume = {14}, unique-id = {32760117}, year = {2022}, eissn = {2071-1050}, orcid-numbers = {Horel, Ágota/0000-0001-9172-9902; Kern, Anikó/0000-0002-3504-1668} } @misc{MTMT:32743798, title = {A talaj üvegházhatású gáz kibocsátása mezőgazdasági kísérletekben. előadás}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/32743798}, author = {Gelybó, Györgyi and Dencső, Márton and Tóth, Eszter and Molnár, Sándor and Saliga, Rebeka and Tóth, Márton}, unique-id = {32743798}, year = {2022}, orcid-numbers = {Tóth, Márton/0000-0001-5565-0017} } @article{MTMT:32484682, title = {Effect of tillage and crop type on soil respiration in a long-term field experiment on chernozem soil under temperate climate}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/32484682}, author = {Gelybó, Györgyi and Barcza, Zoltán and Dencső, Márton and Potyó, Imre and Kása, Ilona and Horel, Ágota and Pokovai, Klára and Birkás, Márta and Kern, Anikó and Hollós, Roland and Tóth, Eszter}, doi = {10.1016/j.still.2021.105239}, journal-iso = {SOIL TILL RES}, journal = {SOIL & TILLAGE RESEARCH}, volume = {216}, unique-id = {32484682}, issn = {0167-1987}, year = {2022}, eissn = {1879-3444}, orcid-numbers = {Barcza, Zoltán/0000-0002-1278-0636; Horel, Ágota/0000-0001-9172-9902; Birkás, Márta/0000-0001-5489-0166; Kern, Anikó/0000-0002-3504-1668} } @CONFERENCE{MTMT:32752745, title = {Spatial variability of soil water content and soil chemistry affect grapevine growth in degraded slopes}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/32752745}, author = {Horel, Ágota and Zagyva, Imre and Dencső, Márton and Tóth, Eszter and Gelybó, Györgyi and Bakacsi, Zsófia}, booktitle = {EGU General Assembly 2021: Conference Abstracts}, doi = {10.5194/egusphere-egu21-4403}, unique-id = {32752745}, year = {2021}, orcid-numbers = {Horel, Ágota/0000-0001-9172-9902} } @misc{MTMT:32489773, title = {Talajrespiráció alakulása szabadföldi mezőgazdasági szén-dioxid dúsítási kísérletben. poszter}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/32489773}, author = {Gelybó, Györgyi and Tóth, Márton and Ujj, Emese and Dencső, Márton and Fodor, Nándor and Barcza, Zoltán}, unique-id = {32489773}, year = {2021}, orcid-numbers = {Tóth, Márton/0000-0001-5565-0017; Barcza, Zoltán/0000-0002-1278-0636} } @misc{MTMT:32489734, title = {Hidrológiai folyamatok változása egy balatoni kisvízgyűjtőn. előadás}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/32489734}, author = {Horel, Ágota and Gelybó, Györgyi and Zagyva, Imre and Bakacsi, Zsófia}, unique-id = {32489734}, abstract = {3.b szekció}, year = {2021}, orcid-numbers = {Horel, Ágota/0000-0001-9172-9902} } @article{MTMT:32190032, title = {Spatial mapping of soil respiration using auxiliary variables.
