	abstract = {A városi terek átalakulása a kreatív gazdaság értékteremtő szerepének felértékelődéséhez vezetett, amely többek között a kreatív munkavégzés új formáiban jelent meg. Az elmúlt másfél évtized a közösségi munkavégzés modelljének rohamos terjedését és számos formájának kialakulását eredményezte. A kreatív terek erősen kötődnek a globalizáció rendszereihez, ám egyben a lokális terekhez is szorosan kapcsolódnak, a glokalizáció sajátos formáját képviselik. Ugyanakkor a kreatív gazdaságot erős centrum-periféria megosztottság jellemzi, és bár formái a földrajzi és gazdasági perifériákon is megjelentek, ezekben a terekben léptékbeli, hálózatokhoz kötődő és intézményi hátráltató tényezők nyomják rá bélyegüket a fejlődésre. A sikeres kulturális ökoszisztémák felépítése jelentős nehézségekbe ütközik, amely a városfejlesztési politikák elé is akadályokat gördít.
		Ehhez kapcsolódva a tanulmányban Pécs, egy periférikus helyzetű nagyváros, ezen belül a közösségi munkavégzési terek (coworking központok) példáján keresztül elemezzük a periférikus kreatív gazdaságok formálódását és sajátos kihívásait. A nemzetközi és hazai szakirodalom tükrében a megosztáson alapuló gazdaság keretein belül vizsgáltuk a coworking jelenségét és annak térbeli hatásait, különös tekintettel a térségi perifériákra, majd három fázisban, a pécsi kreatív miliő felmérése és szakértői interjúk felhasználásával empirikus kutatást végeztünk.
		
		A hazai vidéki nagyvárosok között Pécs a kreatív városfejlesztési stratégiák és a coworking mozgalom bölcsője, ugyanakkor ez a fejlődési pálya számos nehézséggel küzd, a város kreatív értékeinek termékesítése elmarad a várakozásoktól. Kutatásunk eredményei azt mutatják, hogy a városban a coworking központok sokszínű ökoszisztémája jött létre. Működésükben a nemzetközi mintákhoz hasonlóan meghatározó a belváros kulturális vonzereje és az egyetem szerepe; a pandémia utáni években pedig új bővülési hullám jeleit és a digitális nomádok újkeletű megjelenését láthatjuk. Ugyanakkor, bár ezek a központok katalizátorszerepet játszanak a kreatív gazdaság fejlődésében, még nem került sor érdemi klaszteresedésre, a tudásmegosztáson és kollektív tanuláson alapuló előnyök megjelenésére és a közösségi reziliencia kialakulására. Alacsony a tradeable kreatív termékek jelenléte, a szektort pedig számottevő fenntarthatósági problémák – bizonytalan üzleti modellek és a külső forrásoktól való függőség – jellemzik. A centrum–periféria viszonyok erős érvényesülése tehát a coworking, és a szélesebben értelmezett kreatív gazdaság lassú fejlődését vetíti előre Pécs városában.},

	abstract = {Coworking spaces and the creative industries represent a rapidly growing but highly diverse shared economy sector. The paper outlines the types of incremental or radical forms of change developed that lead to industrial–institutional coevolution based on evidence from selected cities in Central and Eastern Europe. The results suggest that CS in peripheral areas are contributing primarily to the path upgrading through local embeddedness of stakeholders. These spaces contribute to refocusing local creative ecosystems by enhancing competitiveness of microclusters. 	abstract = {The importance of cities throughout history is indisputable. Their allocation of economic, cultural and political power, their spatial organization functions are impressive, and their role in social reproduction reached a milestone in 2008, when more than half of the world's population was considered urban. Today, the urban population is still growing. Small towns are extremely diverse in terms of economic power and society, but their numbers and population base do not justify their dominance in the urban network. There have been intense waves of urbanization across Europe, with the scope of formal cities widening and the scope of functional cities closing. Grouped by population category, there are more than 7,000 small towns in Europe, almost two-thirds of the countries' urban settlements are small towns. This is particularly true in Central-and Eastern-Europe, where, due to delayed urban development, there is a combination of welfare suburbanization and urban depopulation, as well as forced-generated movements from the big cities to smaller towns.In our study, we present the main characteristics of population change in small towns in Hungary. We examine spatial and functional differences in the population dynamics of small towns. The aim of the study is to show the spatial distribution of the settlements identified by prosperous suburbs and shrinking cities by illustrating the changes in the population dynamics of the Hungarian small towns population over the last almost twenty years.},
