But few people realise how much this has a negative impact on our well-being. Stress, pressure to perform, time pressure, overwork - these are all symptoms that can be generated by the constant rush. These negative effects can be felt in our personal lives, in our work relationships and in our behaviour. Although personal stress is also a serious problem, in this study we focus on its organisational consequences. The question is, what indicators can we use to measure the negative effects on organisational functioning that are the consequences of human overstress? How satisfied, balanced and happy are employees and to what extent is the organisation able to provide the necessary conditions for this? Many methods are known and used to measure organizational performance, but none of them take into account the negative impacts on human factors due to the efforts made to achieve performance goals (Santos et al, 2018; Patriarca et al, 2018; Vanlaer, et al, 2022; Bravo & Hernandez, 2021;).Keywords: Economic Sector, Employees' Happiness, 'GNH Of Business', Organisational Conditions, Wellbeing.}, year = {2023}, eissn = {9789-6713}, pages = {196-196}, orcid-numbers = {Bencsik, Andrea/0000-0001-8204-3706; Hargitai, Dávid Máté/0000-0003-4470-3296} } @article{MTMT:34145936, title = {Sector Specific Analysis Of Organisational Happiness And Wellbeing Based On ‘Gnh Of Business’ Logic}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/34145936}, author = {Bencsik, Andrea and Selye, J. and Hargitai, Dávid Máté}, journal-iso = {J POS PSYCH WELLB}, journal = {JOURNAL OF POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY AND WELLBEING}, volume = {7}, unique-id = {34145936}, year = {2023}, eissn = {2587-0130}, pages = {152-168}, orcid-numbers = {Bencsik, Andrea/0000-0001-8204-3706; Hargitai, Dávid Máté/0000-0003-4470-3296} } @misc{MTMT:34145927, title = {Tudásmenedzsment és a technológia a tudásfenntarthatóság tükrében}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/34145927}, author = {Bencsik, Andrea and Csinger, Bence}, unique-id = {34145927}, year = {2023}, orcid-numbers = {Bencsik, Andrea/0000-0001-8204-3706} } @misc{MTMT:34145906, title = {A kulturális dimenziók kihívása a fenntartható vezetésben Szlovákiában}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/34145906}, author = {Bencsik, Andrea and Borosová, Zuzana}, unique-id = {34145906}, year = {2023}, orcid-numbers = {Bencsik, Andrea/0000-0001-8204-3706} } @article{MTMT:34131817, title = {Sustainable Leadership Practices Based on the Logic of the Honeybee Pyramid—Comparison of Hungarian and Polish SMEs}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/34131817}, author = {Bencsik, Andrea and Pangsy-Kania, Sylwia}, doi = {10.3390/su151713103}, journal-iso = {SUSTAINABILITY-BASEL}, journal = {SUSTAINABILITY}, volume = {15}, unique-id = {34131817}, abstract = {The popularity of sustainability as a research topic in different areas of organisational functioning is marked by the number of studies on the topic. Significantly less research is addressing the factors that fundamentally influence the functioning of organisations. Among these factors, this paper will review the criteria for sustainable leadership. Competition in the economy has made it necessary to build sustainability capabilities in all areas of business, of which the practice of sustainable leadership is a fundamental requirement for making strategic decisions. This paper aims to examine the thinking, leadership styles, and decisions of leaders of organisations in everyday practice based on the pyramid logic of sustainable leadership. In this research, structured interviews with managers of Hungarian (32) and Polish (28) organisations were evaluated using the ‘Voyant tools’ 2.6.9. software. The results show that there is a significant difference between the Hungarian and Polish leadership mindsets, with both samples only partially meeting the expectations of what can be considered a sustainable leadership style in the spirit of the ‘Honeybee’ approach. Out of the 14 basic elements of the pyramid, the leaders of both nations reach the desired level in five cases. This study provides useful lessons for SME managers in developing sustainability management practices.}, year = {2023}, eissn = {2071-1050}, orcid-numbers = {Bencsik, Andrea/0000-0001-8204-3706; Pangsy-Kania, Sylwia/0000-0002-7850-9101} }
