Predicting the future plasma glucose levels could ensure the safety of the patient. However, such estimation is no trivial task. The current paper proposes a predictor framework which stems from Unscented Kalman filter and works during closed-loop control, that can predict hazardous glucose levels in advance. Once the blood glucose concentration starts to rise, the predictor activates and estimates future glucose levels up to 3 hours, confirming whether the controller can endanger the patient. The capabilities of the framework is presented through simulations based on the SimEdu validated in-silico simulator.}, year = {2016}, pages = {311-316}, orcid-numbers = {Kovács, Levente/0000-0002-3188-0800} } @inproceedings{MTMT:3177926, title = {Research quality aspects, technical requirements and development methodology under motion analysis software development}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/3177926}, author = {Taliga, Miklós and Kertész, Zsolt László and Sógorné Balla, Katalin and Komoróczki-Steiner, Henriette and Benyó, Zoltán}, booktitle = {Proceedings of the Workshop on the Advances of Information Technology: WAIT 2015}, unique-id = {3177926}, abstract = {The following article contains our study associated with motion analysis software, wherein we seek to determine what technological requirements and parameters are necessary in order to produce higher quality product/ software. The development of an automated treatment has reached clinical phase in the last few years. The goal is to keep the blood glucose concentration within a certain region with minimal interaction required by the patient or medical personnel. However, there are still several practical problems to solve. One of these would be that the available sensors have significant noise and drift. The latter is rather difficult to manage, because the deviating signal can cause the controller to drive the glucose concentration out of the safe region even in the case of frequent calibration. In this study a linear-quadratic-Gaussian (LQG) controller is employed on a widely used diabetes model and enhanced with an advanced Sparse-grid quadratic filter and a fuzzy interference system-based calibration supervisor.}, year = {2014}, eissn = {1611-3349}, pages = {445-453}, orcid-numbers = {Kovács, Levente/0000-0002-3188-0800} } @inproceedings{MTMT:2798057, title = {Comparison of sigma-point filters for state estimation of diabetes models}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/2798057}, author = {Szalay, Péter and Eigner, György and Benyó, Zoltán and Rudas, Imre and Kovács, Levente}, booktitle = {2014 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man and Cybernetics (SMC)}, doi = {10.1109/SMC.2014.6974298}, unique-id = {2798057}, year = {2014}, pages = {2476-2481}, orcid-numbers = {Rudas, Imre/0000-0002-2067-8578; Kovács, Levente/0000-0002-3188-0800} } @book{MTMT:2719251, title = {Műszaki és biológiai rendszerek elmélete}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/2719251}, isbn = {9789632791746}, author = {Benyó, Balázs István and Benyó, Zoltán and Paláncz, Béla and Szilágyi, László and Ferenci, Tamás}, publisher = {Typotex Kiadó}, unique-id = {2719251}, year = {2014}, orcid-numbers = {Benyó, Balázs István/0000-0003-2770-9127; Ferenci, Tamás/0000-0001-6791-3080} } @article{MTMT:2854594, title = {Closing the Loop - mesterséges hasnyálmirigy szabályozási algoritmusának in silico validációja 1-es típusú magyar diabetesesek adatain = Closing the Loop - in silico validation results of a Hungarian artifical pancreas algorithm}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/2854594}, author = {Kovács, Levente and Szalay, Péter and Sas, Péter István and Benyó, Balázs István and Benyó, Zoltán and Almássy, Zsuzsanna and Felszeghy, Enikő and Kocsis, Győző and Fövenyi, József and Wudi, Krisztina and Madarász, Eszter and Kerényi, Zsuzsanna and Körner, Anna and Kautzky, László and Grósz, Andrea and Soós, Hajnalka and Orbán, Andrea and Soós, Andrea and Török, András and Barkai, László}, journal-iso = {DIABETOLOGIA HUNGARICA}, journal = {DIABETOLOGIA HUNGARICA}, volume = {20}, unique-id = {2854594}, issn = {1217-372X}, keywords = {egyetemen (Magyarországon) készült közlemény}, year = {2012}, eissn = {2560-0168}, pages = {98-99}, orcid-numbers = {Kovács, Levente/0000-0002-3188-0800; Benyó, Balázs István/0000-0003-2770-9127; Körner, Anna/0000-0002-5251-9707} } @inproceedings{MTMT:2693160, title = {Event-based patient motion detection and compensation in image-guided robotics}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/2693160}, author = {Haidegger, Tamás and Kazanzides, P and Benyó, Balázs István and Benyó, Zoltán}, booktitle = {2012 4th IEEE RAS & EMBS International Conference on Biomedical Robotics and Biomechatronics (BioRob)}, doi = {10.1109/BioRob.2012.6290257}, unique-id = {2693160}, year = {2012}, pages = {841-846}, orcid-numbers = {Haidegger, Tamás/0000-0003-1402-1139; Benyó, Balázs István/0000-0003-2770-9127} }
