	abstract = {A 2007/2008-as élelmiszerválságot követően a COVID-19 járvány után a világ a folyamatban levő orosz-ukrán háború idején szenvedi el ismét egy élelmiszer válság következményeit. A háború két résztvevő országa a világ alapvető élelmiszer ellátója. A kialakult élelmiszer krízis is mutatja a háború negatív hatásait. Ebben a kutatásban arra törekedtünk, hogy megjósoljuk Ukrajnában a fő terményexport mennyiségét a 2022-től (a háború kitörésének évétől) 2024-ig tartó időszakra. Kutatási módszertanként idősoros elemzést és az elemzés elvégzéséhez pedig Matlab szoftvert használtunk. Azt találtuk, hogy Oroszország és Ukrajna a becslések szerint egyre fontosabb szerepet fog játszani a világ élelmiszerellátásában a búza, a kukorica, az árpa és a napraforgómag tekintetében. Kína szerepe a búza-, kukorica- és árpaexportban az előrejelzések szerint csökkenni fog, de a napraforgómag export növekedni fog. Ez a kutatási eredmény szilárd alapja lehet annak a jövőbeni összehasonlító vizsgálatnak is, amely az orosz-ukrán háború világ élelmiszerellátására gyakorolt hatását vizsgálja.},

	abstract = {The Hungarian Student Research Society (HSRS) movement is a unique, experience-based tournament ritual promoting student-centered learning via instructors working as facilitators. Within the framework of this 70-year-old conference series, students conduct mentor-supported research activities on self-chosen topics, prepare academic papers, and present their research work to peers and expert juries within their institutions. The best research is included in the National Student Research Conference (NSRC), organized by discipline. The present study reviews and analyzes this process from the perspective of tournament rituals, skill development, and student experience. The study utilizes student opinions, perceptions, and feedback from a Student Research Conference in Economics to illustrate the method's effectiveness. Findings suggest that such conference event series – which function as tournaments, professional conferences, and festivals via community events – effectively develop the soft skills that are becoming increasingly important in the 21st century. In addition to professional competencies, Student Research Conferences (SRC) provide student participants with positive experiences.},

	abstract = {Food security has raised crisis alarms all over the world. Especially nowadays, conventional agriculture is threatened by climate change and extreme weather, and the agri-food system is loading the increasing population burden. Food loss and waste (FLW) have gotten more and more attention. Still, the main research focus is on a narrowed and specific stage of the food value chain of specific food types in a particular area, which lacks an overall comprehensive understanding of this topic from a broad view. This review aims to provide a comprehensive description of food loss and waste and provide a useful theoretical background to public decision-makers and individuals to reduce food loss and waste for a better and more sustainable society, economy, and environment. Secondary research and content analysis are used in this review as methodology, following Michael E. Porter’s value chain theory, to analyze and simplify the sustainable path (in light of the cause and magnitude of food security based on the nexus between food security and food loss and waste across the entire food value chain (from the main manifestation of FLW: agricultural production stages, such as cultivation or breeding and storage, post-harvest processing and distribution, and retail and consumption. We also provided the Ishikawa model diagram to better explain the causes of food loss and waste. And other manifestations, such as the COVID-19 and Russia and Ukraine war). To conclude, reducing food loss and waste is crucial for sustainable food security, but the manifestation of FLW differ in different stage of the value chain and different food types. Generally speaking, production sees the most loss, while consumption sees the most waste. Therefore, we suggest both public and private should be aware that producing more food and utilizing food resources properly along different stages of the value chain is equally important.},

		As the food crisis has been exacerbated yearly, particularly  after  theCOVID-19  pandemic, we are facing the most severe food crisis since the  2007/2008  food  crisis.  What  is  worse  to the global food supply is the war between Rus-sia and Ukraine since Feb. 24 2022, the two combined are the crucial world food suppliers. The  risks  from  war  to  agriculture  and  food push our planet into a long-term food insecu-rity  crisis.  To  clarify  and  provide  a  compre-hensive review of the heavy influence of the war on the food security crisis, we conducted this literature review based on content analy-sis.  We  have  found  that  the  Russia-Ukraine war  pushes  the  existing  food  crisis  more  se-verely  from  the  perspective  of  primary  agri-cultural  production,  such  as  cultivation  and harvesting, logistics, farmers’ financial issues, infrastructure, and price volatility. In order to realize a sustainable future and food security, everyone on the planet is considered an active contributor. In this research, we also appeal to other export countries of food and agricultural products to emphasize their responsibility for world food security.},
