The sandtable at the University of Pécs has been built for this purpose in 2013. This modeling system is used for the monitoring of various morphological processes, including the formation of fanglomerates, tectonical phenomena or river channel development. To quantify fanglomerate development, we have carried out a sandtable experiment under laboratory conditions. By employing the geomodel and simulating the real-world processes, we have developed a novel method that, with the support of photogrammetric images, is capable of calculating the perimeter, slope, volume and rate of volume changes of the fanglomerates.}, year = {2015}, pages = {217-223}, orcid-numbers = {Halmai, Ákos/0000-0001-5722-8119; Czigány, Szabolcs/0000-0002-9158-3162; Lóczy, Dénes/0000-0002-2542-6775} }
