Here, we utilised the Body Image in Nature (BINS) dataset–with data collected between 2020 and 2022 –to assess measurement invariance of the SWLS across 65 nations, 40 languages, gender identities, and age groups ( N = 56,968). All participants completed the SWLS under largely uniform conditions. Multi-group confirmatory factor analysis indicated that configural and metric invariance was upheld across all nations, languages, gender identities, and age groups, suggesting that the unidimensional SWLS model has universal applicability. Full scalar invariance was achieved across gender identities and age groups. Based on alignment optimisation methods, partial scalar invariance was achieved across all but three national groups and across all languages represented in the BINS. There were large differences in latent SWLS means across nations and languages, but negligible-to-small differences across gender identities and age groups. Across nations, greater life satisfaction was significantly associated with greater financial security and being in a committed relationship or married. The results of this study suggest that the SWLS largely assesses a common unidimensional construct of life satisfaction irrespective of respondent characteristics (i.e., national group, gender identities, and age group) or survey presentation (i.e., survey language). This has important implications for the assessment of life satisfaction across nations and provides information that will be useful for practitioners aiming to promote subjective well-being internationally.}, year = {2025}, eissn = {1932-6203}, orcid-numbers = {Swami, Viren/0000-0002-4866-7950; Voracek, Martin/0000-0001-6109-6155; Afhami, Reza/0000-0002-7678-6164; Ahmed, Oli/0000-0001-8540-8037; Ali, Khawla F./0000-0003-0685-8166; Andrianto, Sonny/0000-0002-5300-0034; Argyrides, Marios/0000-0002-9936-7229; Baceviciene, Migle/0000-0002-9819-2316; Beydaǧ, Kerime Derya/0000-0002-4308-4449; Borja-Alvarez, Teresita/0000-0002-7319-6273; Browning, Matthew H. A kutatás célja annak vizsgálata volt, hogy a CGM alkalmazása milyen hatással van az 1-es típusú felnőtt cukorbetegek klinikai, fizikai és mentális egészségére. Egy hosszmetszeti vizsgálat során 33 felnőtt résztvevő adatainak elemzésére került sor, akik közül 10 fő 6 hónapnál hamarabb, 23 fő 6 hónapnál régebben kezdte el használni a szenzort. A szenzor használata javulást eredményezett a glikémiás kontrollban, különösen azoknál a betegeknél, akik újonnan kezdték el alkalmazni. Ezzel szemben a glikémiás variabilitásban és a TIR%-ban nem mutatkozott szignifikáns változás, bár a hosszabb ideje szenzort használóknál ezek az értékek kedvezőbbek voltak az újonnan használókhoz képest. A mentális egészség és a kezeléssel való elégedettség terén nem mutatkozott statisztikailag jelentős változás. A fizikai egészség és a hipoglikémiás tudatosság terén szignifikáns javulás volt megfigyelhető a szenzort 6 hónapnál hosszabb ideje használóknál, ami arra utal, hogy a CGM-technológia hosszabb távon jelentős előnyöket nyújthat a cukorbetegek önmenedzselésében.}, year = {2024}, eissn = {2560-0168}, pages = {377-384}, orcid-numbers = {Lukács, Andrea/0000-0002-1938-8071} } @article{MTMT:35625329, title = {Fizikai egészség és jóllétérzés 1-es típusú cukorbeteg gyermekeknél és serdülőknél}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/35625329}, author = {Lukács, Andrea}, doi = {10.32967/etk.2024.003}, journal-iso = {EGÉSZSÉGTUD KÖZL}, journal = {EGÉSZSÉGTUDOMÁNYI KÖZLEMÉNYEK: A MISKOLCI EGYETEM KÖZLEMÉNYE}, volume = {14}, unique-id = {35625329}, issn = {2063-2142}, year = {2024}, eissn = {3004-3085}, pages = {32-40}, orcid-numbers = {Lukács, Andrea/0000-0002-1938-8071} } @article{MTMT:35576437, title = {Adolescents’ Experiences in Managing Type 1 Diabetes}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/35576437}, author = {Lukács, Andrea and Debreczeni, Edina}, doi = {10.5457/p2005-114.369}, journal-iso = {CENTR EUR J PAEDIATR}, journal = {CENTRAL EUROPEAN JOURNAL OF PAEDIATRICS}, volume = {20}, unique-id = {35576437}, issn = {2490-3639}, abstract = {Objectives − This study examined perceived changes in diabetes management among adolescents with type 1 diabetes as they transition from childhood to adolescence, focusing on self-management, parental involvement, physical activity, and treatment reflections.Patients and Methods − Qualitative description employing individual semi-structured interviews was utilized with 19 adolescents. Interview data were processed using a content analysis approach. Results − Most adolescents managed their diabetes independently, drawing from years of experience. While some adhered to medical advice, others made independent decisions, prioritizing convenience, or habits. Parental roles varied, from regular supervision to granting autonomy. Many adolescents appreciated parental support, feeling it provided security, though some experienced it as overbearing or insufficient. They had increased independence in managing their diabetes as they grew older. Acceptance of the disease improved with time, aided by technological advancements. Challenges included increased insulin needs and food intake during adolescence, but overall, they felt more confident and responsible in self-management. Despite advancements in technology, practical challenges persist in managing diabetes during physical activity. Conclusion − Adolescents with diabetes generally develop effective self-management skills and appreciate increasing autonomy, though adherence to medical advice varies. Continued parental support and advanced diabetes technologies play crucial roles in their management. Ebben az időszakban a depresszió gyakori probléma, amely a serdülők 4-5%-át érinti, és komoly kockázati tényező az öngyilkosság szempontjából is. A serdülőkori depresszió felismerése kihívást jelent, mivel tünetei gyakran a normál serdülő viselkedés részei. Eredményeink arra utalnak, hogy a serdülők depressziójának megelőzése és kezelése holisztikus megközelítést igényel, amely figyelembe veszi a serdülők életmódjának és környezetének különböző aspektusait.}, year = {2024}, pages = {108-113}, orcid-numbers = {Lukács, Andrea/0000-0002-1938-8071} } @article{MTMT:35337496, title = {Exposure and Connectedness to Natural Environments: An Examination of the Measurement Invariance of the Nature Exposure Scale (NES) and Connectedness to Nature Scale (CNS) Across 65 Nations, 40 Languages, Gender Identities, and Age Groups.}, url = {https://m2.mtmt.hu/api/publication/35337496}, author = {Swami, Viren and White, Mathew P. and Voracek, Martin and Tran, Ulrich S. and Aavik, Toivo and Ranjbar, Hamed Abdollahpour and Adebayo, Sulaiman Olanrewaju and Afhami, Reza and Ahmed, Oli and Aimé, Annie and Akel, Marwan and Al Halbusi, Hussam and Alexias, George and Ali, Khawla F. and Alp-Dal, Nursel and Alsalhani, Anas B. and Álvarez-Solas, Sara and Soares Amaral, Ana Carolina and Andrianto, Sonny and Aspden, Trefor and Argyrides, Marios and Benzon R.
