Most research has focused on the effects of currency conversion on monetary policy, while fewer publications have dealt with the changes affecting companies. The aim of this study is to examine the impact of the introduction of the euro on companies. It provides a detailed literature review, including international examples of countries that have successfully joined the euro. This allows for a more detailed analysis of the advantages, disadvantages, and risks. The study focuses on the competitiveness of companies.
