In this study, we present the professional and methodological framework of a project
aimed
at examining and enhancing university students’ text production skills. This ongoing
research serves as the foundation for the development of an e-learning course. We
evaluate the writing skills of ELTE students, along with their attitudes towards and
challenges in academic writing, utilizing a modular assessment tool and attitude surveys.
