Jelen kutatás a hazai családi borászatokat vizsgálja, feltárva erőforrásaik szerkezetét, azok kettős – egyszerre előnyöket és hátrányokat hordozó – természetét, valamint a mindennapi működésbe való beépülésük módját. Kvalitatív interjúkra és a releváns szakirodalomra támaszkodva három új elméleti összefüggést azonosítanak a szerzők: a familiness dinamikus, életciklusfüggő értelmezését, a status quo fenntartásának, mint új, erőforrásgátló mechanizmusnak a szerepét, valamint a fizikai és immateriális erőforrások integrációjából létrejövő „természeti VRIN” konfigurációt. Az eredmények alapján egy holisztikus, hétlépéses, iteratív erőforrás-menedzsmentmodellt dolgoznak ki, amely hidat képez az elméleti megközelítések és a gyakorlati működés között, és hozzájárul a családi vállalkozások erőforrás-dinamikáinak mélyebb megértéséhez.
