Sugárzási és elektromágneses hatással szembeni ellenállóképesség
With the proliferation of smart devices, the electromagnetic environment of
urban areas has become increasingly saturated - a phenomenon often referred to
as electromagnetic smog. The continuous radio-frequency communication of Internet
of Things (IoT) devices - whether applied in smart homes, industrial control
systems, or wearable technologies - makes the detection of these sources
particularly challenging.
The aim of our study is to investigate the detectability of IoT devices in urban
environments through spectrum analyzer measurements combined with artificial
intelligence-based image analysis. During our research, we examined radio signals
emitted by various technologies (e.g., Zigbee, LoRaWAN, BLE) in order to identify
device types and estimate their spatial positions.
Based on our results, it becomes possible to map the electromagnetic
environment using digital "signatures", providing a new level of understanding of
urban electromagnetic infrastructures.
