IT governance is critical to help small businesses plan and control their DT strategy. This study would complement knowledge regarding the antecedents of successful DT among small businesses and could be a further research agenda. The findings of this study would benefit further research endeavors. This study used a systematic literature review and thematic analysis techniques. We have tabulated the review results of the primary articles.
