A tanulmány a mentorok kritikus baráti szerepét járja körül irodalomtörténeti és bibliai
példák segítségével. A kritikus baráti szerep csak egy a mentori szerepek közül, látszólag
nem is a legfontosabb, a hozzá való viszony mégis hat arra, ahogyan a mentor a mentori
feladatkörhöz, szerephez általában, illetve a további mentori szerepekhez viszonyul.
A kritikus baráti szerep talán szokatlan szempontú vizsgálata az olvasók számára érdekes
és hasznos lehet, amikor ezen a szerepen gondolkodnak. | In this study, the authors
explore the role of mentors as critical friends through examples from the Bible and
literary history. The role of the critical friend is just one – and seemingly not
the most important – role among many a mentor has; yet their relationship to this
role influences how they generally relate to their mentoring duties and character,
as well as to other mentoring roles. This – perhaps unconventional – examination of
the critical friend role may be interesting and useful for readers when they reflect
on this role.
