A jelnyelvi bibliafordítás témája egyre gyakrabban napirendre kerül a bel- és külföldi
biblikus konferenciákon. „A Biblia mindenkié” felfogás jegyében a Biblia szövegét
gondozó intézmények komolyan veszik azt a küldetést, hogy akadálymentesítsék a szent
szövegeket. A tanulmány betekintést nyújt a magyar jelnyelvi bibliafordítás műhelymunkájába.
Felhívja a figyelmet arra, hogyan teremtenek utat a jelek a Szentírás megértéséhez.
| The translation of the Bible into sign language as a topic has been coming up more
and more frequently on the agenda of Biblical conferences in recent times. In the
spirit of the saying „the Bible is for everyone,” institutions responsible for Bible
outreach are taking seriously the mission of making the sacred texts accessible. This
study provides an insight into the behind-the-scenes work of the Hungarian sign language
Bible translation. It draws attention to how signs open up the way to understanding
the Scriptures.
