Az ember eredeti, teremtett állapota harmóniát mutatott Istennel, önmagával és környezetével, amit a bűnbeesés tört meg, ezzel szégyent, rejtőzködést és kapcsolati torzulásokat idézve elő. A szégyen az Ószövetségben nemcsak személyes érzelemként, hanem kulturális és közösségi tényezőként is értelmezhető, szoros összefüggésben a becsület fogalmával. A tanulmány kiemeli a szégyen romboló és építő hatásait, különös tekintettel az önreflexióra és az Istennel való kapcsolat helyreállítására. Az elemzés ószövetségi szövegek, például 1Móz 3,7 és Ezsd 8,22 részletes értelmezésére alapozva bemutatja, hogyan válhat a szégyen a lelki növekedés és a közösségi kapcsolatok megújulásának katalizátorává. | This study explores the crisis and restoration of human existence from the perspective of the Old Testament, with special focus on the theological and anthropological dimensions of shame. The original, created state of humanity was characterized by harmony with God, oneself, and the environment, which was disrupted by sin, resulting in shame, hiding, and distorted relationships. In the Old Testament, shame is understood not only as a personal emotion but also as a cultural and communal factor, closely linked to the concept of honor. The study highlights both the destructive and constructive effects of shame, particularly in terms of self-reflection and the restoration of relationship with God.
