Az Adorno és munkatársai által eredetileg alkalmazott antiszemitizmust vizsgáló kérdőív a zsidókra nézve javarészt negatív állításokat tartalmaz, ami az igen-effektust kiváltva növeli a zsidóellenes állításokkal egyetértők arányát. Az igen-effektus kiszűrése érdekében kérdőívünkbe zsidóellenes és zsidókkal rokonszenvező állításokat azonos arányban vettünk fel. Ezáltal el tudtuk különíteni azokat a konzisztens válaszadókat, akik, ha antiszemiták voltak, egyetértettek a zsidóellenes állításokkal és nem értettek egyet a zsidókkal rokonszenvező állításokkal, míg, ha filoszemiták voltak, akkor egyetértettek a zsidókkal rokonszenvező állításokkal és nem értettek egyet a zsidóellenes állításokkal. Klaszteranalízist végezve azt találtuk, hogy a megkérdezettek kisebb része esetében látunk konzisztens antiszemita és filoszemita válaszmintázatokat.
