A szerzők az MTMT (Magyar Tudományos Művek Tára) publikációs adatbázis felhasználásával tettek kísérletet az életmű áttekintésére. Leíró statisztikákkal, hálózatelemzési módszerekkel és kvalitatívan vizsgálták a publikációkkal lefedett szakmai területeket. Elemezték továbbá a szerzői és a tudományterületi kapcsolati hálókat is. Az eredmények bizonyították a széles körű kutatási és publikációs tevékenységet. A módszertant tekintve az elemzések során megerősödött az a tapasztalat, hogy a szokásos bibliometriai eszközök nemcsak egy adott tématerület publikációinak vizsgálatára, hanem egyéni publikációs tevékenység áttekintésére is alkalmazhatók. Külön érdekesség, hogy ehhez nincs szükség a nemzetközileg szabványosnak tekinthető adatbázisokra, hanem más, például az MTMT adatbázisa is felhasználható.
