A rendszerváltást követő piacgazdasági szemléletű gazdaságpolitikai elképzelések és
a restitúciós törekvések jelentős változásokat idéztek elő a mezőgazdasági üzemrendszer
alanyi (a szövetkezetek) és tárgyi oldalának (a föld) jogi szabályozását illetően.
Novotni Zoltán magánjogász professzorként az elsők között foglalkozott az agrárjog
jogágisági, jogtudományi és stúdiumi jellegét érintő területekkel. A jelen írás az
„A magyar agrárjog fejlődésének vázlata” című műve mentén vizsgálja az agrárjogi szabályozás,
az agrárpoltika és az agrárjogi oktatás napjainkban betöltött szerepét.
In memoriam Prof. Dr. Zoltán Novotni–A pathfinder in establishing the doctrine of
agricultural lawThe market economy approach to economic policy and restitutionary
efforts after the regime change brought about significant shifts in the legal regulation
of the subject (cooperatives) and the object (land) of the agricultural sector. Zoltán
Novotni, as a professor of private law, was one of the first to engage in the areas
of the legal, jurisprudential and doctrinal nature of agricultural law. The present
paper examines the role of the agricultural policy, the legislation, and the
agricultural law education in Hungary today, based on his work "An Outline of the
