During acoustic emission measurement, we detect and analyze various sound phenomena,
enabling the prediction of defects. This method is used to examine anisotropy, which
shows changes in the propagation direction of sound waves. Anisotropy aids in identifying
stress directions and determining
the orientation of structural defects. To achieve this, we create polar diagrams based
on the incoming data, which also provide valuable information through their shape.
For accurate anisotropy determination, we have developed a mechanism that optimally
positions the sensors, thereby enhancing the manual
measurement technique.
